Percy POV
Annabeth and I were taking a walk in New Rome. We graduated college last year. Fond memories. We still saw all of our friends. Jason was always traveling between the camps. Six years and he was still wasn't finished building. Leo was off in Texas with Calypso, doing mechanical work. He had returned to his hometown. We obviously saw Frank and Hazel because they were in New Rome too. Piper was around in California somewhere. She was a doctor. Annabeth and I both had jobs now. Like actual real jobs! Annabeth became a elementary teacher and I became a swimming teacher. We had gotten married a few months ago. We didn't have any children yet, we were unsure when to take that step. It was a July Saturday, so both of us didn't have work. We passed a lot of old friends, saying hi and talking a bit before moving on. Finally when we made it back to our house, I went in and collapsed on the couch. Annabeth sat down next to my head. After a few moments of silence, we heard a knock on our door. I looked at Annabeth. She gave me the look that said Go, open it! I sighed, getting up and walking to the door. I opened it and saw Lady Hecate.
"May I come in?" She said.
"Who is it?" Annabeth shouted from her place on the couch.
"Hecate." I said. "She's asking to come in."
"Let her in." Annabeth shouted again from her place on the couch.
I stepped aside and allowed the goddess in. Hecate entered and I shut the door and we walked into the living room to sit.
"Why are you here Hecate?" I asked.
She explained that a war had been declared and we were in need of allies.
"So you want us to go and convince a very powerful person up in Alaska to assist us in this war?" I asked, for confirmation.
"Yes." Hecate confirmed
"Okay, but I need a favor from you afterwards."
"Fine."
"Now, how are we going to get there exactly?"
"Zeus has allowed you to take a plane as it concerns the fate of Olympus."
"But- "
"Do not argue, it took a lot of gods to convince him so just take it. He has also allowed for a plane back. And yes, he paid for the tickets."
"Okay."
"And your friend Hazel is coming along too."
"Got it."
"Any more questions?"
"Yes. How do we know where to go?" Annabeth asked.
"Ask a local. Everyone knows where the death zone is."
"When are we leaving?"
"Tomorrow."
"Got it that's all we need to know." Annabeth said.
With that, Hecate left and I laid back on the couch.
