Chapter Thirteen: A Reunion!!!

EC's POV:

Well that didn't work. That bad imp held that poor child and she was already passed out. Chaz led us to the edge of Los Angeles after we escaped and got into the Shellraiser. He got out and turned to us. "I-I'm so sorry. Truly I am." He said. "It's not your fault." I told him. "I-I just wish I could have done more." Chaz said. "Well, thanks for the help, Chaz." Leo said. We then heard soft sobbing and saw Donnie was crying in his hands. Carolyn approach him softly. "Donnie..." She said. "Carolyn, Jay, EC. If it wasn't for you three, we never even would have made it here. So, thank you." Donnie said before he stood up and lightly led us to the door. "Dude, we can't leave now. M-maybe our eyes were playing tricks on us." Mikey said. "Mikey. You saw it just like the rest of us! Anna-banana is GONE! Let's go home." Donnie said. "Donnie..." Raph said. "What more is there to try and explain, Raph?!" Donnie snapped, shocking us all. "Donnie, please don't go away. Please. No one's ever stuck with any of us for so long before. And if you leave, if you leave...I just, I remember things better with you lot. We do. Look, C, Imp, 66..! Ugh! I remember it, we do. It's there, I know it is because when we look at you, we can feel it. And, we look at you and... we're home. Please. We don't want them to go away. I don't want to forget." Carolyn said in tears. "I just... I just need some air..." Donnie said as he ran off, trying to not cry. Poor Donnie...

Kick's POV:

As soon as we were far from Crimson's place, I gently shielded my eyes from the bright sunlight. I couldn't believe it... we were ACTUALLY FREE. I looked at Annie and hugged her with a smile. "We did it?" She asked us. I shook my head with a kind smile and looked at her. "What?" She asked. "You did it Annie. Without your quick skills and thinking, we never would have escaped." I said with a smile. She hugged me as Drift stopped and we all got out before he deployed Jetstorm and Slipstream and we ALL hugged her as Angel ruffled her hair. "How did you think of holdin' your breath to try and fool Crimson?!" Angel said with a smile. "My- I mean OUR brothers taught me to hold my breath for extended periods of time." Annie said as she held me close. Niffty came scurrying with a smile as she held a broken staff of some kind. "Niffty. Where did you find that?" I asked. That staff looked SO FAMILIAR. "I found it near a blue masked turtle who was trying to calm down some crying lady." Niffty explained. "Wait. Did the 'blue masked turtle' have ocean blue eyes and 2 swords and was accompanied with a red masked turtle with emerald green eyes, 2 sais and an orange masked turtle with baby blue eyes, white freckles and a pair of nunchucks?!" Annie asked Niffty. "Yeah." Niffty said. Annie quickly grabbed my hand and smiled. "Come on!" She told me.

Leo's POV:

"Carolyn, it's okay." I said, trying to comfort her. "I just can't believe she's gone..." Mikey said sadly. "Can this day get any worse than this?!" Raph said as he punched a tree nearby. "Guys?" We heard a small voice ask. It sounded like... No... it COULDN'T BE... "Anna... Bear?" I asked as I turned to face the bushes. I pushed back the bushes and smiled with happy tears. "Anna-bear!" I said as I ran towards her. The guys and I hugged her with happy tears. Then Raph spoke up. "Ice Princess, how did- when did?!" Raph said. "I held my breath so Crimson would THINK I collapsed." Anna-Bear explained. Oh yeah, we taught her the trick, we obviously fell for it. Silly us. "Guys. This is my twin brother. Meet Kick Buttowski." Anna-Bear introduced us to Kick. "Pleasure to meet you guys." Kick said. "Nice to meet you too. Wow. Who would have thought that you DID survive the attack from Tiger Claw." I said to Kick. Kick chuckles softly. "Guys, we gotta find Donnie still!" Jay said. Oh yeah, Donnie is still out there. "EC?!" a girl in purple said as she and a bunch of others ran over. "Aph?! KC?! Noi and Pierce?! Oh mi gosh!" EC said as she ran and tackled them into a hug. "We've got some explaining to do while the others go find Donnie." Kick said. "Come on, the Shellraiser's this way." I said before leading Kick and Anna-bear back to the Shellraiser with Raph and Mikey as the others goes to find Donnie.

Donnie's POV:

I was crying in my hands. My baby sister was gone... FOR REAL this time. I didn't protect her once... I didn't protect her again. I failed as a brother to her, I didn't even apologize to her. "DONNIE! DONNIE!!!!" I heard a voice. Great. Now I was hearing things... "DONNIE!!" The same voice is clear and... it's getting closer. I turned around, tears still in my eyes. "DONNIE!" I saw Anna-banana! "She's alive the whole time!!" Mikey cried out. "Guys? ANNA-BANANA!" I said, running to our baby sister. "DONNIE!!" Anna-banana said. "ANNA-BANANA! I'M COMING, BABY SISTER!" I said happily. "DONNIE!" Anna-banana said before I tackled her into a hug. I spun her in a hug before holding her close. "Oh thank goodness!" I said in tears. "I'm so sorry for what I said!" She sobbed. "I'm sorry for being a bit overboard!" I said sobbing. "I understand why you're overprotective." She said with a shaky sob. I hugged her tightly. "I don't hate you." She said, cuddling close to me. "Oh, Anna-banana." I said lightly moved her hair gently. I saw Kick and was surprised. "Anna-banana, is that...?" I asked her surprisedly. "Mm-hmm. That's my twin brother!" She said with a smile. My goodness, he must've survived the Tigerclaw incident! "But... but how?" I asked. "I have the same scar she does." Kick said before lifted the sleeve up. Sure enough, there was the same scar Anna-banana has on his arm. Oh, almost forgot! "Anna-banana." I said softly. "Huh?" She asked. "Sea turtles. We met one. And he's 150 years old." I said. "150?!" She said in awe. "Yep." I said. "That's so cool!" She said. "Indeed, have we got a lot to tell you." I said as I lightly picked her up. I then tickled her tummy. She giggled in joy. "S-stop!" She laughed. "Never." I said as I kept tickling her. She laughed as I kept tickling. I wonder... I grabbed Kick and started tickling him too on the stomach. He tried to keep a straight face. "S-stop!" He said, trying to keep a straight face. "Looks like I got my answer." I said tickling him. Both of them were laughing as I tickled them. This is the best reunion ever, until... "Hurry, you're heading the wrong way!" The deer shouted as the herd ran from something. "Ahh!! Look out!" Carolyn said. "What the-?" I asked. "Move move!" Leo said as he guided us away from the herd. Something is happening, but what is it?!

Raph's POV:

What's going on?! "Get down!" Leo said as we ducked fast from the incoming net that caught the half of the herd. "WHAT THE HECK?!" I yelped. "There must've been hunters in the forest!" Donnie said as we headed to hide in the trenches. "Oh great!" Jay muttered. "Wait, where's Carolyn!?" Mikey yelped. "Help!! HEEEEEEEEELP!!" Carolyn yelped as she got herself caught in the net with the herd. "CAROLYN!" EC and Jay yelled. "Come on!" Ice Princess said as we ran to the net. "Help!! Help, get me out! Ahh!!" Carolyn said as she got pulled deeper into the herd. "What do we do?!" Leo asked. Ice Princess and Kick looked at each other and nodded in determination. "We know what we gotta do!" Ice Princess said. "Anna-banana, no!" Donnie said as he held her good arm. "Donnie, you have to trust her and Kick!" Vaggi said as she and the others ran to us. "No, my brothers and I aren't losing her or Kick again!" Donnie said. "Donnie, we don't have any choice! It's the only way to save Carolyn. A daredevil NEVER listens to reason! We can do this!" Ice Princess said as she looked at Kick, and then Donnie. Donnie's face softened before his hand let go of her arm. "You're right. I know you will." Donnie said. "We'll be okay." Ice Princess said. "Now go, hurry you two!" Leo said.

Anna's POV:

Kick and I managed our way through the herd of deer and I looked at them all and whistled VERY loudly to calm them down. They calmed down before we weaved through to see Carolyn in the middle. "Is everyone alright?" I asked. The herd nodded. "Oh gosh, you two are adorable, also we need to get out of here, the edges have heavyweight things to prevent us from moving." Carolyn said. I nodded and then got an idea as I got my watch-phone. "Father, we're going to need you and the others to use your weapons to destroy the net." I said. "Are you sure it is a good idea?" Father asked through the comm unit. "A daredevil always takes risks. So yes. I'm sure." I told Father before I got my katana out and handed Kick my bo-staff. "Lemme show you a trick." I told him before pushing the button to make the blade appear. "Cool." Carolyn said with sparkling eyes. "Everyone ready?" I asked. "Let's do this." Leo said. We all used our weapons to destroy the net and the herd of deer even helped! Soon the net was broken and the herd was ecstatic! But also, a few knocked me and Kick out as Carolyn got out on one of them and landed on the ground.

Drift's POV:

Everything happened incredibly fast. Once we all cut the net, the herd pounced out fast, Carolyn rode one and she jumped off to land. "Hey guys!" Carolyn said happily. "Where are Annie and Kick?!" Husk asked. We looked around fast as the herd decreased in seconds. "There!" Mikey said as he pointed. We ran to my daughter and her brother as Donatello knelt down to Annalise. "Anna-banana... Anna-banana..." Donatello said as he lightly lifted Annalise in his arms. It was then Annalise coughed gently as Kick coughed too. "Donnie?" Annalise said with a small shaky voice. I sighed softly with relief. Thank the Primes my daughter and her brother are alright. "Oh, thank goodness." Donnie said in relief. "Donnie, I'm really sorry I caused this mess." Annalise said. "Shh, it's never your fault. I'm so sorry, Anna-banana." Donatello said softly. "If it weren't for you, we never would have escaped." Noi said. Annalise smiled softly and Donatello helps her stand up carefully. I approach her and smile gently. She walked towards me carefully. "I still can't believe I'm a hybrid." She told me. "It is a part of you that you never knew. Now you know." I said. She smiled gently. "Okay, let's go home." Leonardo said. "You know, we could try to expand the lair for our new friends." Michelangelo suggested. "What do you think, Leo?" Raphael asked. Leonardo sighed softly. "Well... I guess we can do a renovation." Leonardo said. "My friends and I can help with that!" Aphmau said. "Yeah!" Kawaii-Chan, Noi and Pierce agreed. "Whoo! More friends, the merrier." Michelangelo said happily. "Let's all go home, everyone." Leonardo said. I transformed and opened my door. Annalise looked hesitant at first as she looked at Donatello. He nodded softly and lightly pushed her forward gently. Annalise got in my vehicle mode and I put a seatbelt across her. "Let's head home." Leonardo said.
