I'm going to be pretty lax on rules for this story. We're all here to kill time during quarantine and I know there's way too much craziness going on in the world currently that I'm not going to try and enforce activity or anything. So these are more guidelines than they are "rules" if that makes sense

◊ There will be roles for this story, but they will be pretty vague. Try to make your forms pretty detailed. 

◊ I do want your characters' families to be relevant. As you work on your character's background in the form, please include faceclaims for important family members. Parents, siblings, stuff like that. 

◊ When it comes to names, faceclaims, and backgrounds, keep in mind that this takes place in a modern day setting. "Katniss" names will not be accepted. Please refrain from faceclaims whose only gifs are aggressively dystopian or fantasy. Also be careful with backstories—not everyone's life has to be absolutely perfect, but this is a reasonably financially stable, average town. Just try and keep that context in mind. 

   --> As a follow up, I may ask you to change the name, faceclaim, or background of your character. If I do this it's usually because I associate that name or actor with something so specific that it's hard for me to write a new character out of it. The same goes for background, if I ask you to change parts of it it's just to make the story work better. 

◊ All I'll say when it comes to activity is don't take a role if you're not interested. I'm going to leave spots open for non-role characters which will probably play a smaller part. I'm not going to be super stringent on this simply because there's way too much going on in all of our lives right now. 

◊ As usual, I'll have a few questions in the author's note for each chapter. As much as I love reading comments throughout the chapter, my favorite thing is always hearing people's thoughts at the end. Again I'm not going to be super picky about activity, I'm just letting you know that those sorts of comments are things I really appreciate.
