It's been a year since the kidnapping and getting to know about my royal heritage and everything. And everyday seems so very dull. I thought everything would go back to normal but it didn't. The first day we returned, yes, it was normal, but as the days progressed, it just became less and less normal.

Bryce and Isla spent most of their time together and Anaya and I stopped pranking each other. Completely. And I mean others included. Pranking just stopped. That shocked everyone. We no longer cared. She signed up for drama and music classes and I signed up for gym and marine biology.

Life changed drastically, but I was determined to change it back. After all, I am still in love with Anaya and today is her musical. I will win her back today.

'Mom, please. Can I go to the musical school's holding today?' I pleaded.

'That's fine. Just be back home before twelve o' clock,' she said.

'Thank you so much.' I hugged my mother.

And soon, I set off for the place where the musical was going to be performed. It wasn't very far from my house and took about fifteen minutes to reach that place.

I took my seat and waited for the musical to start.

At exactly seven o' clock, the musical started. Anaya came in, looking very beautiful. She was the lead and played Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Kiddish? I know but no matter what, she looked breath-taking.

The moment she meant my eyes, my thoughts vanished and I felt like we were the only two people in the room. I knew she was the only one I'd ever love this much and I knew I could never love someone else so much. I'd take a bullet for her. And then I knew, I couldn't let her get away. Not again, for she was the one. My only one.

Fuck, I sound like a girl, and those sloppy princes from fairy tales. But I can't help it. My whole life is so cliche and is just like a fairy tale. Ugh!

Well, since it is like a fairy tale, I just might end it like one.

I ran backstage and pleaded the director to cast me as Adam in the last two scenes. I told him the whole story and since he was a sucker for sloppy romances, he did so. I was beyond happy at that.

Finally, just before the musical was about to end, I switched my places with the guy cast as Adam. It was the kissing scene.

Anaya noticed the change in Adam. 'What are you doing here?' She hissed-whispered.

'Doing what I should have done a long time ago,' I said and just as I leaned in, she leaned back. She freaking leaned back. That girl!

'That's a sloppy line,' she commented. 'And it's from A Cinderella Story. Don't tell me you watch Hilary Duff.'

'Whatever. I'm just doing what I should've done. Taking what's mine. Claiming what's mine,' I said.

She laughed.

I did the only thing I could to shut her up and not let her embarrass me in front of the whole school and half of the city, I kissed her. Yeah, I'm so very cliche. So, so cliche.

She shut up, obviously. And she kissed me back. She fucking kissed me back. I didn't expect this but I was so damn happy. I did a mental dance while kissing her back.

When we pulled back, she smiled. 'I hope you know you're stuck with me now. No turning back. If I find out you're cheating on me, you'll be missing your junior. Literally.'

'No cheating. I love you,' I confessed.

'I love you too.'

We touched our foreheads against each other and smiled while the crowed gave us a standing ovation.

In terms of pranks,

Avil = 100

Anaya = 100

But in terms of reality,

Anaya : 100

Avil : 0

Game over!
