"Did they hurt you?" He asks coming forward to me. I nod my head left and right.

"You can ride me..... I mean m-my car.....I mean not forever; I can drive you to a safe place. This place is not safe." He tells playing with his car's keys.

"Okey, thanks again for......."

"You thank and say sorry too much, the best two words emotion freak people use much." He rolls his eyes but I don't reply. I have to get use to his emotionless sentences until destiny fails to make me meet him.

"I've to find my purse first." I turn around but he stops me.

"You don't have to. I noticed you left it at that shop and was going to return your purse, you left it on the counter." He hands me my purse and I leave a long breathe of satisfaction.

"Actually I'm not used with carrying purses without strings because I'm not good at handling my things." I smile shyly.

"Better change your habit or you'll lose yourself one day." He says.

"Thank.....oh sorry. No! What the.....? I've to say you something instead of sorry and thank you!" I frown.

He leaned closer to me and smirked. "For now, you can use a smile for being thankful. Later, I'll let you know my ways of sorry and thanks, only if we proceed to meet further." He whispers leaning dangerously closer to me.

"I......I've to pay my bills." My voice cracks, causing him to chuckle. He raises his arms and my eyes unintentionally leads my mind to the beautiful inked leaves hugging his hips.

"You said you gotta pay the bills. So move and stop staring this low." He winks.

"Oh God! I wasn't....."

"I told you before girls call me that!" He smirks in the stupidest way and I sigh.

He steps backwards and I wipe away the sweat forming over my forehead before entering into the store again. Paying the bills, I wear the off shoulder crop top with the skinny jeans and walked towards the counter after sliding into my pair of new white toms. I walk towards the car taking my shopping bags.

"What's the place you wanna go? I've to drive to one direction at least." He tells after I hop inside the passenger's seat beside him.

"Well Madison lives in Jacksonville. I could've gone there by plane easily but that'll be the easiest way for my father to find me. Besides, I don't have my passport. It'll be so much of your help only if you leave me to a hotel. I'll think about the rest." I smile.

He rolls his eyes and I hear him mumbling 'talking machine'. I stick up my tongue at him and make a face.

"Don't make faces or I know how to stop your blabber." He snaps.

"Oh really! And what's the way?" I ask batting my eyelashes.

He looks at me and opens his mouth to say something but stops.

"So the name of your Romeo is Madison?" He asks after starting to drive his car.

"Yeah. What should I call you? I think we've passed enough time together to know our name." I tell leaning against the window.

"Harry." He replies boldly, not a pinch of interest for knowing mine. So I didn't bother to tell my name by myself.

"I'm going to Jacksonville for some important work. I can drive you to your Romeo if you can resist a two days long drive. I was not going to help you that way but I think you haven't noticed yet that you've lost your purse, again." Hearing his noticeable remarks I look around being shocked and gasp.

We are already far away from that gas feeling station and there's no surety of finding my purse there.

"I've nothing with me now. Besides a pair of clothes and shoes." I sigh looking down at my outfit.

"That's why I'm lending you my car's seat to Jacksonville."

"Lending? Wow! Your dictionary surprises me."

"My dictionary only? I don't?" He widens his eyes.

"Yes, kind of. Everything about you surprises me to be honest." I tell and he laughs.

I watch as his dimples digs down in his cheeks. I just smile in reply and lean my head against the window again and stare outside.

"Why don't you fly or go to a bus to Jacksonville? Two days ride will be so tiring!" I ask looking outside.

"I love to drive everywhere by myself and I'm the one who's driving. So if your butt gets tired, I've no medication for it." He chuckles and I frown.

"How did you fix your car?" I ask rising up my head.

"Someone was passing by and lended me a hand. Lucky me as always." He smiles and I nod.

It's dark outside but for some unknown reason I like it. I close my eyes as a sweet melody starts to fill the air inside the car. I start to recall my music classes from my school. I miss the tune of my violin, the violin that my dad gifted me on my 9th birthday when I stood first in a competition. My sweet memories start to fade away by the memories of Michael and dad's daily quarrels; the day my big brother left the house being annoyed of my dad's rules and regulations. I cried for days, sitting in the corner after Michael left. But it was my dad's love which brought me out of every kind of pain. I know he loves me more than anything but by time I have realized his love for me is not much more than his love for money, his ego. I try to shove sad memories by calling some good ones till I feel my eyelids getting heavy.

"No! Don't leave Mike, don't! Please! Dad tell him to stop! Dad please!" Tears start to brim down my face as I run downstairs to find any single way to stop my big brother, the best human being I've ever seen in my life.

Michael turns around and kneels down in front of me, trying to reach my height. I wipe away the drops of tear from his face and try to utter some words through my trembling lips.

"Don't leave; I won't be able to sleep without you. Do you want me to pass sleepless nights?" I sob hugging him tightly, running my little fingers through his blonde hair. Anyhow I have to stop him and I know he'll listen to me.

"I'll come back, I'll come back with the thing in a huge amount dad loves the most. I'll do anything to show him what his useless boy can do and throw bundles of money on his face!" He tells the last words looking at dad. Failing to realize his heavy words I look at him as he stands up after planting a kiss on my forehead.

"But Mike I need you." I run towards him and stop him by his hand. My little words shaking because of running.

"I know you need me Snow, I know." He bites his bottom lips. "I'll return in the right time with the right thing. Or this man will destroy you, too." He finally walks fast to the door leaving my hand.

"Mike stop! Mike..........." I fall down on my knees closing my eyes till I find a large hand over my shoulder, shaking me repeatedly. I kept screaming Mike's name.

I open my eyes and see Harry leaning closer to me. If I move a little, my nose will touch his. Hearing my mind he moves backward, keeping his eyes stuck on mine.

"Drink it." He passes me a bottle of water and I take a few sips hastily. I squeal as the sweat over my forehead start to burn the groan over my head.

"Look at me." I do as he says and surprising me, he cleans the skin around my groan and puts a band-aid on it.

"Ugh..." I groan before he finishes the task.

"Feeling better?" He asks and I nod.

"Wanna talk about it?" He asks raising his eyebrows.

"Not now, later maybe. Discussing past only refreshes the memories we want to forget." I smile and he nods.

"You have them every night?"

"No, I fell down on the ground and hit my head......"

"Not that on your forehead! Geez! The nightmares." he sighs and I nod.

I look outside the window and notice it's morning already and Harry is not driving.

"You want me to drive? You must get tired." I ask.

"No, I don't like people touching my things." Here he goes again, Mr. Rude.

"I have to know your name. I was trying to wake you up when you were having a nightmare but I ended up in jerking your shoulders instead."

"Snow, Snow Clifford." I tell looking at him. He doesn't say a word but starts the ride after keeping his gaze on me for a while.

Sometimes he reminds me of Madison, not his personality but his looks, his long hair. I'm glad that finally I'm going to Madison. We've been in a secret relationship since four years; we had to keep it a secret from my father. My father promised his best friend to marry me off with the son, Luke, when we both will be eighteen years old. To keep his respect in society, he forced me to keep his ancient promise, to keep his head raised up in the society. When he got to know that Madison and his family don't earn the huge amount of money he dreams about his in-laws would earn, he got fixed on his decision of marrying me off early. Then I decided to take the decision to run away, the decision which my brother took years ago and didn't come back. My heart cries remembering about Mike.

"Are you a poet or something? I'm calling you for hours." Harry's words snap me back to the realty as I notice him standing in front of the opened door on my side of the car.

"Can you talk a little less rudely maybe and tell me why have we stopped here?" I frown.

"To have breakfast. I'm starving and I hope you're not fasting." He replies smiling forcefully.

"I'm gonna pay back the amount you've been spending for me." I say as I mean it, he stops and turns around to look at me.

"You don't have to pay babe! If you have to, I'll let you know my way of paying too." He whispers in my ears and walks to the coffee shop winking at me.

Babe?

I stand there steel with my jaws open until a girl runs over me and mouths me sorry. I walk to the coffee shop and find Harry leaning on the counter.

"Are you okey with bacons and French toasts?" He asks and I take time to make sure if he has added babe again.

"Better."

After having my second meal with this mysterious boy, we walk towards the parking and our journey starts again.
