I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve written in this book, I’ve been counting the days by the amount of times Dr. Berry comes into our room.Patton is in terrible condition, his sickness just keeps growing worse and worse. I’m beginning to think he won’t survive without proper treatment. Still, Dr. Berry refuses to pay attention to us. Instead focusing on his favorite subject, Janus. I don’t understand why Janus is so special compared to us. I know that he gets higher grades, but is that really the only reason? Maybe it’s cuz he wouldn’t hesitate to kiss Dr. Berry’s shoes. He’s always been obedient, like a dog. I guess that would seem pretty ideal to an insane motherfucker like Dr. Berry. I, however, refuse to give in to that psychopath. I would rather die than submit to him. He tries to trick us with warm smiles and words of encouragement. The smiles never reach his eyes, and his tone is never quite right. For someone who’s supposed to be incredibly smart, he should work some more on his manipulation skills.
