The Triwizard Tournament had started. The Yule Ball was coming up soon. Andrianna was waiting for Draco to ask her if she would go with him. Then, finally, one day Draco asked her. "Hey, Andrianna, do you want to go to the Yule Ball with me?" Andrianna couldn't believe it. "Yes. I'd..." calm down Andria! "...I'd love to." Andrianna said. The Yule Ball finally came. Draco was waiting at the bottom of the stairs for Andrianna. She then appeared at the top of the stairs. Draco looked shocked. She was wearing a dark green, long dress. She was beautiful, but Draco didn't want to show that he felt that way. Everyone was already gossiping about him asking out a Gryffindor. They went into the great hall that had been decorated for the Yule Ball. They danced but people kept laughing or whispering about them. Andrianna couldn't take it anymore. Maybe this was a mistake. Draco seemed to get the message too. Then Andrianna's older sister, Analyn, came over. "I can't believe it! Andria, you and him should not be together. You're a Gryffindor! And he's...he's a Slytherin!" She was disgusted by the name "Slytherin". Draco was both angry and upset. "Andrianna can make her own choices and if you don't like them then go away." Draco said. Andrianna broke free of the argument. She ran. She ran out of the great hall. Draco ran after her. He found her sitting on a pair of stairs, crying. "Don't listen to her." Draco said, sitting beside her. "But what if everyone treats us this way." Andria said through tears. "Then we'll have to love each other in secret." Draco said, hugging her. He hadn't hugged anyone in a while. It was strange but he enjoyed it.
