Midoriya Izuku shuffles into the dark room, hush sniffles and soft snoring the only sounds being heard. A fluffy All Might blanket is draped over the short boy's shoulders, clinging closely to the heat. It was the middle of the night, and while Izuku knew he shouldn't be in the room, he could get into trouble with the teachers, he didn't care at that moment. Only the person in the bed that he was shuffling over to.

"K-Kacchan," Izuku stutters, sniffling loudly in the quiet room. "Kacchan, wake up."

The blond boy grunts, rolling over towards the noise.

"Kacchan, please," Izuku whimpers, clutching the blanket closer to his body. "w-wake up."

Red eyes open at the stutter, locking eyes with green eyes.

"Mmmm... what do you want?..." Bakugou Katsuki asks quietly.

"I... umm..." Izuku stammers, sniffling again.

"Deku, you could've chosen someone else to wake up and bother, ya know? Just tell me-," Kacchan starts off, sleep making his voice deeper than it usually is.

"I love you," Izuku cuts the blond off.

Silence hangs in the air for a few seconds, which starts to fuel Izuku's anxiety.

He's mad, Izuku thinks, he's going to kick me out. Oh no, oh no. Don't kick me out, please.

"Stop mumbling, nerd," Kacchan groans. "I love you too, now get in my bed right fucking now."

With that said, Kacchan lifts the blankets up, another, silent invitation to get in with him. Izuku smiles slightly, sniffling as he swiftly slides into the bed, his All Might blanket now forgotten on the floor in favor of being closer to the warm heat that is Katsuki.

"Why're you sniffling?" Kacchan whispers.

"Nightmare," Izuku murmurs.

"Want to tell me what it was about?" Kacchan asks in a soft tone that is rarely ever heard. And Izuku is one of those people that get to.

"You died," Izuku whispers, tears coming back anew. "I couldn't save you. A-A villain got you wh-while you we-were hel-helping a kid af-after an att-attack."

Arms wrap around Izuku, pulling him closer and placing his chin on the green hair.

"I'm still here," Kacchan whispers, "And besides, no villain can catch me off guard, Deku."

Izuku giggles through his tears, wrapping his arms around Kacchan's torso.

"Thank you," Izuku whispers, clinging closer to his childhood friend.

"Of course, what would I do without my number one fan, Deku?" Bakugou questions softly.

Izuku giggles, burying his nose into Kacchan's neck. And in the darkness of the room, Bakugou allows a small smile to tug at his lips, bringing the shorter male closer to his chest, if that was even possible with how close the two were.

"You know you'll have to wake up earlier to get back to your room unnoticed?" Katsuki whispers into the darkness.

"Scared of Kirishima?" Deku jokes back just as quietly.

"I'm not scared of anyone, nerd," Bakugou scoffs, smiling slightly at the small giggle the statement causes.

"Anyone? Not even Recovery Girl?" Izuku murmurs.

"She startles me, that's all," Bakugou huffs.

Silence hangs around the duo, so long that Bakugou starts to think the younger fell asleep. However, a voice rings through the silence, cutting the thought off.

"Don't leave me," Deku whimpers. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Kacchan."

"Well, you'll never have to find out because I'm always going to be with you, stupid nerd. It's you who has to promise not to leave me, bone-breaker," Katsuki retorts.

Deku lets out a small laugh at the new nickname.

"I could never leave you, Kacchan," Izuku counters. "I haven't yet, have I?"

"No, I guess you haven't, nerd," Kacchan rolls his eyes in the darkness of his room.

"I have no intentions of leaving you either," Deku promises. "You're stuck with me, forever and always."

"Go to sleep, nerd," Kacchan huffs, happy that the darkness of the room hides the splash of red on his cheeks.

"Love you, Kacchan," Midoriya murmurs.

"... Love you too, Deku, forever and always," Kacchan whispers back after a few moments of silence, placing a gentle kiss on green-hair.

Thats how the two fell asleep, tangled in each others loving embrace, feeling as if nothing could touch them. Even with Izuku waking up earlier to get back to his room and Bakugou missing the body heat that the younger one offered, theyre full of love and contentment for the rest of the day. Because the duo loves each other more than anything.
