Jewels side

     Two weeks later Baba still hadn't regained his memory. It broke my heart. What made it worse was when he would hang out with other women. My heart grew heavy every day. I've tried to make up with him, but it's almost like he refuses me. So now I've quit. I moved out of Babas and my room. It hurt to much to not want to crawl into bed and feel Babas arms around me. I sat in my new bedroom and let the tears fall.

Baba's side

     Strolling out of my room I walked past Jewels room and I could hear her crying. It tugged at my heart. The woman was so cold yet so fiery. Something about her drew me to her, but I didn't understand. Going through my phone she was obviously important to me. The guys won't even tell me what she was to me. Yet everytime I had a pretty lady on my arm it didn't feel right. Strolling away I went out the hotel and headed for an ice cream shop. Walking in my head suddenly pounded. I leaned against the door frame holding onto my head. Blinking I looked up to see my scenario has changed. Everything around me in black and white.
     "What the-"
     Stopping I seen myself and Jewel. Walking hand in and to the counter.
     "Mint chocolate chip? Really Baba?"
     "What it's delicious! You'll have to try some of mine!"
     Watching as myself and Jewel sat down with ice cream and myself feeding Jewel a spoonful and Jewel lit up. Her smile was so beautiful.
     "Okay! You were right that is yummy!"
     "I told you love! It's always good to try things!"
     Blinking my eyes the scenery was gone and back to normal. Suddenly ice cream didn't sound appealing as it once did. Leaving the shop I went to a small local bar and walking in a guy waved and I waved back.
     "Little early to be drinking isn't it," Rox asked.
     I shrugged, "Is it ever too early for anything anymore?"
     Rox was a long time friend and he looked around me, "I see Jewels ain't with ya. Oh! I did what you asked. Hold on!"
     Did what I asked? Rox disappeared behind the curtain to the backroom and coming back out with a small black box I furrowed my eyebrows. He opened the box and sure enough was a black band with a dark green gemstone.

Rox smiled, "You said she was unique. So I found this. When you gonna propose?"
     Suddenly I felt like I was gonna throw up. Standing up I ran to the restroom and threw everything up. Dry heaving into the toilet I wiped my mouth with toilet paper and flushing the toilet I stood and walking to the sink I splashed some water onto my face and grabbing some into my hand I rinsed out my mouth. Maybe drinking wasn't a good idea either. Maybe Jewel-Jewel? What about Jewel? Why am I thinking of her? Also I was gonna propose to her? My head started spinning. What is happening?
