My mother has been in this state for almost three months now, she is suffering from a lung disease which I couldn't afford the hospital bills.

My dad's insurance didn't help us in any way. We used it for his burial and paying of the rent.

"Hey you there why do you look like the world is coming to an end on you," Suzannah my childhood friend and a nurse asked me as she came to check the vitals of mum.

"Don't tell me you are thinking about him, I have already told you move on with your life since he can't even see or recognize you," She advised, taking a seat beside me in the room.

"I know, I know, I don't have to talk or even the least pretend I know him. Because of that damn contract I signed." I mocked, brushing my hair from my face.

"You did the right thing jack, she wouldn't have even let you be had you not sign the contract. You know she has always been against your relationship with him. She never liked you from the beginning." Anna which I like to call her, voiced out taking both my hands in hers.

"How is he doing" I finally managed to ask the question that has been on my tongue for the past two weeks since the accident.

"He is doing fine, his medication is going smoothly and she never leaves his side, she doesn't leave his room more than an hour." Anna replied, a hint of warning in her voice.

"I know what you are trying to say, i can't visit him it is too dangerous but I just want to see him if it just for a minute can you please help me with that" I pleaded with her at the verge of crying .

"I miss him so much, I miss his laughter and carefree side. I just want a glimpse of him. I know he will never forgive me for selling our love, me not fighting for us. Gosh i hate my self already," the tears I was trying so hard to hold back, broke loose.

They where flowing freely, I was so lucky I wasn't wearing any makeup, I would have ruined my face with this tears.

"Fine, I will see what I can do about that. By the way, any luck with the job hunting"

Did I forget to tell you after Mrs Cameron paid me, I became jobless. Yep it's been a week now and I have been jobless, I'm feeding and paying the medical bills through the money I got from that contract.

I need to find another job to support us, or else before mum regains her consciousness we will be homeless.

"Did you hear what I even asked?" Anna asked me as she slightly shook my shoulder. I turned to her with a sheepish smile and a blush on my face.

"Erm sorry, can you repeat what you asked?" I asked her, rubbing my hands on my jeans.

"I think I might have gotten a job for you." Anna said, smiling down at me.
