As we climbed out of the window, guards started rushing in from the stair case. Light threw herself at the guards and she was on fire. Literally on fire. She can change into elements. One of the guards' shirt caught fire. The others tried to grab me.  I pushed myself out the window and started running. Light was on my heels, but so was at least twenty guards. Light was slowing down, I picked her up and she went plush. I started to panic, I was alone now.

I ran to the closest house, before I could reach it, a guard threw a net over me. Thankfully, someone from the house saw it and called the police. After they called the cops they ran across the street and hit one of the guards with a pan. All the other guards held up guns. The person rescuing me was about my age, but she was taller and more fit. "Get away from that kid!" The girl yelled. "I have a name." I complained. "Shut up." The guard that was holding me, gave me a hard punch. It was like I was paralyzed. I saw the girl panic and the smack another guard. 

One of the guards fired and after that it was all a blur. I saw lights, people running. I was picked up off the ground, "Wake up, Wake up!" I heard Ann screaming my name, but I was too tired to answer. I heard her screaming to some people, then it went black.

"Where am I?" I saw a blurry movement and then I heard Ann. "You are okay!" Then my whole body got squished. I guess she hugged me. "Where are we?" "The hospital." A girl in the corner of the room said. "You are all safe because of the police. The men keeping you told them everything." I blinked to get my eyes used to the light. where is Light? "Where is she?" The girl looked at me and smiled as i sat up. "Its okay, your plush cat is over here." She picked up a stuffed animal, thats when I saw her giant cast. "What happened? After I passed out?" 

The girl stopped to hand me Light, as soon as Light touched me she was back to her cat  form. "Those men, have guns that suck the powers out of me." Light said "We have to go." The other girl replied. She was looking at her phone thing. "One of the men has escaped from the prison."
