"Today, you will meet the others." By now, the man has learned, almost everything about me. He gave me back Light and sent me to a big room. There was a pool and food, lots of food. Almost as if I was in a resort. "Hey, new kid! Over here!" I turned around and I saw a mermaid. My eyes widened and I told myself, "This is so not happening." The mermaid turned to me and became human. She walked up to me. "What is your name? Mine is Ann." All of the sudden Ann fell on the ground screaming. "What is wrong?" I panted. "I'm sorry, my name is Splash." Ann explained how each 'creature' had a code name. "We are not allowed to share any name except code names. Mr.Drew thinks that knowing real names will give us a chance to escape." I pushed Light into my shirt as a guard walked by. The man who gave her Light back, he said not to let any other men know. My feelings must had triggered something...

"Where are we?" Kat turned around to see Light was moving. "Oh! You are not supposed to know I'm alive." Kat's mouth hung open, but nothing came out. "I'm, as you call me, Light." The small cat gave a slight nod. "Who are you?" Kat asked. Ann's hand reached out and grabbed Light. She gently stroked her head. "I have not seen a cat in three years. I was taken when I was at a shelter picking out a new cat.

"Well, it would be nice to not be pet right now." Light stared up at Ann. "Oh, sorry." Ann coughed and then jumped back into the water. "I was given to you to protect you. Your sister, Sara, she has powers too. She can move elements to her will. She knew you would be captured, as she was when she was 11. I saved her. This program is after me too. She gave me to you and now I have been summoned." Kat listened intently. "The man who gave you back me, he was the same man who gave Sara me. He has the gift of not aging. He picks an age and grows to it then stays there." Kat looked at the cat. She finally understood why her sister can do great special effects. She can move things, without touching them.
