Edward Cullen

The look on Elizabeth's face the whole time was so, so pain ridden. I don't even think Jasper, who has scars all over his body because of his time with Maria, could fill the pain in Elizabeth's eyes. No matter the pain he went through, the pain he had witnessed.

I could never comprehend it. Is the pain I have seen in her eyes because of these or something else?

I was in school with my family sitting at our table and looking at Elizabeth through minds of others. Lately, for a reason unbeknownst to me, I have been loosing glimpses of things in their mind.

Suddenly the door opened and people began to gasp, I looked up to see 5 boys, walking in, and from the minds of the people around me — they were One Direction.

They walked up to Elizabeth, and when she saw them, some of the sadness seeped away, and she hugged them all, holding onto two of them longer. Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, it would seem from the minds of everyone. 

I glared at them, jealous feeling me to the core. She was mine.

I ignored my family, and saw as Eliza looked up at my direction. 'Hi, Emmie.'

More jealousy filled my core as I noticed she wasn't looking at me. I saw Eliza look away as she met eyes with me and I frowned as suddenly thoughts bombarded mind—

Elizabeth is so ugly.

That bitch is taking my boyfriend!

Wow. How could something be so ugly!

—I fought with all my strength not to go and rip off everyone's heads off.

Eliza let a tear slip and I somehow knew that she knew everything that was said; but, to what extent?

I shook my head and got into Eliza's car, did she know? Is that why

Her car purred, and the scent of newness was still in this car, despite her having had it for more than a year.  I drove behind One Direction and shook my head at the thoughts in Jasper's mind.

Despite my ability to read minds, I could not decipher the message in their eyes.

Elizabeth, of course had had a shield like Bella, therefore I could not read hers, however Jasper's almost seems to be abyss when it comes to why he hates her.

A shield!

That's why! Maybe, just maybe Eliza is finding a way to block it; but why?

When we got there people went inside but we were not allowed in. "Let me through! Let me go!" we heard a yell.

Everyone turned and looked at Eliza. She had tears running down her cheeks as people escorted her our way. She turned and ran into Harry's arms collapsing into a new round of tears.

"Hazie, Hazzie, he was one of them." Eliza whispered and Harry growled angry.

"I want him fired!" he yelled and everyone stared at him, the remaining boys following regardless to the fact they did not know what was happening.  "He raped our Isa!"

I growled low enough to hide it. She's mine!  He has no right to choose who gets fired and who doesn't. "No, he didn't I would know." I growled to the boy.

Harry turned to me with a glare chuckling softly, "Please, you wouldn't realize anything if it wasn't written out for you."

Elizabeth turned and looked at me her eyes begging me to stop, but also holding anger, "I'm her friend, I would know."

Harry chuckled, "Some bloody friend you are, mate."

Before I could reply Elizabeth shook her head and pulled Harry away and sat down. I walked forward her but she glared at me and I frowned. "You don't know anything, Edward. Harry's right; you only realize the things you do a lot of because you can read it. It's basically written out for you."

Soon the door opened and a doctor walked up to them, "Zayn is asking for Elizabeth."

Elizabeth sat up and went with him, when she did the One Direction boys walked up to me. "You truly know nothin' about her, mate. If you did, trust me you would cry. We have cried, Harry cries every time he thinks about it. Zayn does, too. You may not know us and we sure don't know you, but we know more about El then you do."

The guy moved away and I fought to not fight him. He is a liar. He does not know anything about Ellie.
