A tingling sensation shot through Freed's entire lower body. The sound of Laxus' heavy breathing filled the room. I can't believe this, Freed thought, how did we end up like this?

He thought back to earlier when the dragon slayer had shown up at his door with 2 cases of beer in his hands and a dopey grin on his face. As was the case with most things, drinking was something Laxus took quite competitively. He liked to show off. So, he had ended up drinking much more than he should have and now here they were in this interesting position.

I can't believe he drank so much he passed out! Freed's thoughts raged as he took in the sight of the burly blond man draped not-so-delicately over Freed's lap and drooling on his clothes. In a weird way he does look kind of cute though, he sighed.

As if on cue, Laxus began to stir. A blush rose to Freed's cheeks. Even though logic said it was impossible, part of him couldn't help but worry that Laxus had heard his thoughts. Coming back to his senses, Freed shook off the worry and classified Laxus' perfect timing as pure coincidence.

"Freed" the drunk man muttered, causing Freed's face to become even redder.

"Y-yes?" Freed asked.

But there was no response. Did he just say my name in his sleep? Freed's heart sang. He sat there giddily, covered by his oaf of a crush, until he ultimately fell asleep himself.

A/N: So, for context, this came from a conversation I had with my brother that went something like this:

Me: "What can someone be drunk on? The prompt is 'drunk on...' but I don't know what to have this character be drunk on."

Brother: "Hmm... the other guy."

Me: "What do you mean?"

Brother: "Have one guy passed out drunk on top of the other one"

And thus, I wrote Laxus passed out drunk on Freed.

Anyway... this one ended up being short, but I hope you still enjoy it! Some stuff came up in my personal life but I'm going to do my best to finish the rest of these and get them out :)
