'AHHH! I should really think about carrying around a phone or communicator.' Jay thought as he was smashed into a wall.

"I second that." Red Robin said as he hit the villain.

"What?" Jay asked.

"You were talking out loud." Red Robin said.

"Oh..." Jay didn't know what to say.

"Here. It's a two way communicator. It's connected to me and only me. I can call you and you can call me." Time handed Dick the communicator.

"Cool! And thanks for the save." Dick said.

"I wouldn't have to save you if we were doing what you said you were." Tim glared.

"So, still sour over finding out." Dick grimaced. 

"Well, you find out that one of your family members, that you thought you could trust is lying to you and see how you feel." Tim said and then swing away.

Dick winced.

Tim had a point.

Maybe it was time to stop this.

Maybe it was time to ACTUALLY put up the mask.

It was near the end of Jay's shift when he heard it.

He was near the docks by the abandoned warehouses.

He heard the laughter.

The insane laughter that no one should EVER be around.

"Oh, little Robin! I wonder where Batman is!" he heard as he neared the edge of the roof he was on.

Jay heard a groan.

And as he stood on the edge, that's when he saw.

Robin tied up, Joker with a crowbar in hand.

Robin, his Robin, his brother; Damian!

Jay's eyes narrowed.

Batman, Red Hood, and Red Robin were racing to the docks to get to the S.O.S. sent by Robin.

When they FINALLY got there, they were met with a surprise. 

Joker was tied up, his weapons on the ground far away from him.

And a figure was picking up Robin.

The figure had their hood up, and their cape surrounding them.

"HEY! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Red Hood screamed and pulled out his guns.

The figure looked up.

Once Robin got to his feet, the mysterious figure ran.

Red Hood tried to go after him, but Robin stopped him.

"Don't. He stopped Joker and helped me." Robin said.

"Did you get a name? A description?" Batman asked.

"No. He had his hood on. And pretty sure he also had a mask underneath it." Robin said.

Batman's eyes just narrowed.

Hey! I know it's been a while since an update, and I know it's a bit short. 

I'm trying to figure out how to get this to the ending I want it to go to.

Idk how many more chapters it'll be until I get to the ending, but I'll get there, lol
