Our science club membership drive party was a huge success!!Everyone LOVED our party favors! They were SUPERcool sunglasses that students got to keep.

And the cupcakes I had ordered  were absolutely DELISH! Our ZANY music was lots of fun. 

OMG! Ashi was such a great dancer. And said she danced competitively and had won a ton of trophies.

We ended up with sixteen new members, for a total of twenty-two members! And, to show their appreciation, they gave me an honorary membership in the club! SQUEEEE!!

When it was time to discuss club activities for next year, I couldn'thelp but make a joke. 

"Okay, all in favor of light saber fight scenereenactments from Star Wars movies, raise your right hand!" I said,all serious like. 

Of course the only people to raise their hands were Siddharth, Mohsin, Dev, and Riyaz. 

"Okay! Now take your right hand and SLAP YOURSELF SILLY!" Ijoked.Everybody in the room laughed really hard, including them. I think theguys got my point. 

Soon it was time to say my good-byes, and we all hugged each otherand agreed to stay in touch.My week at International School Of Dance had turned out better than I hadimagined. 

But I was starting to worry that Jannat's problem waspossibly CONTAGIOUS. Why?Because it was MY idea to take a CELEBRATORY SELFIE of me andthe twenty-two members of the new-and-improved science club! INEVER wanted to forget the wonderful time we had together beingblinded by science!

OMG! I can't believe I actually SURVIVED the student exchangeprogram at ISD!SQUEEEEEEEE !! 

Even though the science club event was a huge success, my last fewminutes at ISD turned into a complete DRAMAFEST! 

I had justfinished cleaning out my locker and was on my way to the office toturn in my student ID.

Turning in my ISD student ID to the office was kind of bittersweetbecause I was already starting to miss my new friends. 

But it also meant returning to my wonderful life at my school and hangingout with cherished friends who adored me.And OMG! I can hardly wait to get back there!

I was so physically and mentally exhausted from my week at ISD, Icould have slept FOREVER!I FINALLY dragged myself out of bed around noon, only because Ihad promised Ashnoor that I'd spend the afternoon in the kitchenhelping her try to earn her cooking badge.AGAIN! 

I was eating lunch and skimming my mom's recipe book for quick andeasy snacks when I got a text from Sumedh: 

SUMEDH: So, how was your week at ISD? Luv the tacky uniforms (LOL)! 

ME: It was good. Can't wait to get back. How was yours? 

SUMEDH: We had fun. Howz Ashnoor?

ME: I'm trying to help Ashnoor earn a cooking badge for Scouts. Any ideas fora super-EZ brat-proof snack? 

SUMEDH: How about caramel popcorn balls? Yummy too! 

ME: Popcorn balls?! Are you kidding me? Sounds way too complicated! 

SUMEDH: Nope. Super EZ! Even I can make them and I'm a cruddy cook. Imade some last night. 

ME: Really?! What are the ingredients? 

SUMEDH: Just popcorn and caramel candy. Cooks in microwave. 

ME: That's all?! Very cool! Be right back . . . 

ME: We have popcorn ! But no caramel candy ! 

SUMEDH: I have a bag of candy. Will bring it right over.NIKKI: You're coming to my house? NOW?!! 

ME: Sumedh? 

ME: Hello? R U there?! 

ME: We'll just cook a PB & J sandwich! 

ME: ?????? !! 

I was a little worried when Sumedh disappeared like that right in themiddle of us texting each other......
