Sunlight reached through the windows of the car as Annie climbed into the back.She beamed brightly and began to speak.
"What's your name?"
The driver of the hitchhiker didn't answer.

  "Not much of a talker,eh?My name's Annie!" The twenty-year-olds extended her hand.Her driver grunted in response.
"C'mon!Tell me more about yourself!"she said,twitching her nose excitedly.

"The name's Ralph.Ralph McGowan," Finally the man stopped the car and turned to face the brunette woman.She smiled and took in his physical appearance.His eyes were a glittery blue:his shoulders were broad and his lips were soft-looking.

  Birds chirped quietly in the distance,barely audible over the purr of the car's engine. Annie stared out of the window silently,her eyes raking through the forest for people. Nobody was out there.Or were they?

  Anxious,she turned back and began to talk again.
"When I'm at Camp Crystal Lake I'm gonna be cook!Did you know they were reopening the camp?"she chattered.
"Yeah,"Ralph told them.
"How'd you know?"she asked.

  "My dad's obsessed with this place.Says it's got a death curse,"he told the woman, chuckling in his smooth voice.She giggled along with him for a few seconds.Then her eyes noticed the wooden sign swinging by the side of the road:

  "We're here," Annie nodded towards the sign and smiled.
"I know," Ralph smirked,his battleship blue eyes shimmering in the sunlight.Golden beams smiled down on the two acquaintances as they climbed out of the car and closed the doors.

  On one table four people sat.
"Hi guys!"the woman said,strolling towards the quartet. One of them,a blonde girl with brown eyes,glanced up.
"Oh!You must be Annie!I'm Alice,head of the counselors!" She extended a pale hand, which Annie shook.

  "I'm Ralph,assistant mechanic here," Ralph walked up to Alice,who smiled calmly at him.Her nose was quite large,Annie noted;she had freckles on her cheeks and nose too.
"Welcome Ralph.The main mechanic,Jack,hasn't reached the camp yet."

  There were three other people sitting on the bench.To Alice's right sat a young man with brown hair and a plaid shirt.His smile was wide and exposed his full set of teeth.
"I'm Bill!"he said,grinning.

  "Vicki is the girl to Alice's left," As Bill spoke,a girl with mousy brown hair and grass-green eyes waved happily.She giggled in joy,her eyes glittering.
"Last but most certainly not least is me,Bill's sister Brenda,"the final girl said,beaming happily.

  "Aren't there others?"Ralph asked Vicki.
"Yeah.There's my boyfriend Mark and his buddy Ned!"she said,pointing towards the two young men by the cabin the men would be sharing.

  Annie strolled towards Mark and Ned.Mark was sitting down,discussing things she could not hear from that far away.
"You two?!"she called out,sitting next to Mark.

  "WAIT…..," She stopped dead in her tracks.Mark was in a wheelchair!Her eyes widened in shock and she stared slightly.Vicki walks towards Mark,who's beautiful blue eyes were watering.

  "I'm so sorry.I am SO sorry,"the woman whimpered,standing up and hurrying away.
Vicki comforted Mark by the chair,showering her lover with hugs and kisses.Both of them cried.

  Mortified,Brenda rushed to comfort the couple.Alice,Ralph and Bill stared in shock from next to the wooden bench.Annie joined the three,who gave her each a different look.Ralph's look was of sympathy while Alice's was of irritation.Bill was just shocked.

  "RALPH!What are you doing here?" The harsh voice of an elderly man filled the air.
Annie,Alice,Bill and Ralph spun around to see the owner of said voice.His eyes were pools of grey.Ralph scratched the back of his head,smiling awkwardly.

  "Dad!Why are you here?"
"You know why I'm here SON!The place has a death curse!"the old man growled, slapping his child's wrist angrily.Alice glared at the elderly man and snatched the boy away.

  "Hey!All of you should stop fighting!"Brenda cried,standing between the old man and Alice.
"I agree with Brenda!" Bill stood next to her sister.
"YOU'RE ALL DOOMED!"the old man cried,climbing onto his bike and speeding away.
