1. Which adjective describes you best? & Why?

Hmm...this is a tricky one. I'd say an adjective that best describes me is persistent. I have this belief that if you keep going and you keep doing your best, that positive things will come your way. It's not always easy and I definitely have moments of doubt and uncertainty, but overall, I've seen first hand how persistence can lead to positive results. Being persistent is also a great way to annoy people at work. 

2. What music do you listen to?

I'm a huge music fan and have always ranked it in my top three interests alongside reading and writing. I listen to a lot of different genres, but I'd say my top favourites are rock and all its sub-genres (i.e., punk, alternative, indie, classic, etc.), rap/hip-hop/R&B, pop, and Latin. 

3. What types of books do you like to read? 

I try to read as widely as I can and will generally give almost anything a shot. However, I'm a huge fan of thriller/mystery/suspense novels. There's nothing like staying up late at night and trying to figure out what's going on and deciphering all the clues. I love the thrill you get from reading these kinds of plot heavy books. Also, I mainly write YA and have a soft spot for YA novels, especially Contemporary YA. I'm a huge fan of character driven books and coming of age stories. I also recently discovered romantic comedy novels (like hello, where have I been?) I just finished Don't You Forget About Me by Mhairi Mcfarlane – such a cute story. 

4. What is your favorite quote or scene in your Wattpad book? (Or in your favorite Wattpad book?) & Why? 

Another tricky question! In my book When You're Gone, my favourite scenes to write were those between my protagonist Zoe and her group of friends. They acted as comedic relief and it was a nice change of pace. I also enjoyed writing the scenes between Zoe and Lucas; writing a budding romance is always fun. As for a quote, I wouldn't say it's my favourite by I remember liking this one when I wrote it:All I could think about was Annabelle as I got ready for school Monday morning. I scanned through our friendship in my mind like a slide show, wishing I could rewind and start again but it only moved forward no matter how much I wanted it to stop. Our friendship had a beginning, middle, and now an end. It was the end that hurt the most. It was the end I wished I could change. 

5. What do you like best about Wattpad?

For me, Wattpad is a great motivational tool. Writing can be very isolating and getting to share your work with others is pretty exciting. Having people read your work and provide feedback is invaluable and definitely helps keep me going.I find you get as much out of Wattpad as you put in and the possibilities and opportunities are endless. The evolution of Wattpad has been incredible and seeing writers succeed on this platform is awesome and another motivator.
