"Callie? Callie?!? CALLIE LEIGH?!??" Grayson screams as he tries to get Callie's attention. He moves closer to her. "Are you feeling okay?" He ask while moving her hair out her face. She looks up at him with her crystal blue eyes and smiles. "I'm fine Grayson. Calm down." She says while moving his hand away from her face. She knows she shouldn't have lied to her best friend. But she can't tell him what's bugging her, he worries way to much. The last time he was worried about her he didn't eat for weeks. "Grayson, why don't we hang out tonight? My mom has to work till 5:30 and my dad is in nightshifts." Callie says while putting her books in her backpack

        Grayson stands up and smiles. "Of course peaches!" He says with excitement in his voice. He soon grabs his backpack and walks beside her. "Want me to just walk home with you after school?" He ask grabbing her backpack and pulling her closer to him.

    She looks up at him. "Yeah, just walk home with me. The creepy old guy next door always comes out and messes with me while I'm walking home." She says shivering, just the thought of the perv made her feel uncomfortable. Good thing Grayson was coming home with her.

       Finally it's the end of the day. All I have to do now is find Grayson and start to walk home. Callie says to herself as she's walks outside. Around that time this tall, dark haired boy walks up to Callie and wraps his arm around her waist. "Hey Red, when are you going to go out with me?" The tall boy asked.

     Callie turned and looked at him. "Look Carter I don't like you like that. Don't get me wrong your cute, but your not my type." She says while looking for the tall red headed boy Grayson. "You know Callie" Carter said with a pause. "You should try dating sometime. You might feel better about yourself" he says walking away while rolling his eyes....

 
        "Mr. John I need to go! Callie is waiting on me. I don't wanna make her mad." Grayson says standing up.

     "Mr. James you have to finish your test then you can go" the older male says without looking back from the computer.  Grayson grabs his bag and test. "I finished here!" Grayson says as he lays the test on the teachers desk and runs out.

    Oh god Peaches is going to kill me for making her wait hopefully she's not to mad. Grayson says while running down the hall. Right before he gets to the double glass doors he's see's Callie standing there with Carter's arm wrapped around her waist. He stops to figure out what's going on. Not to long later Carter walks away with by the looks of it, anger and disappointment in his eyes. Grayson soon quietly walks out the double glass doors and picks Callie up form behind.

"Hey Cale how are you this fine evening!" Grayson ask walking towards the sidewalk.

Callie wiggles to get out of his grip but fails. "What took you so long? I almost left you." She ask completely avoiding his question.

    "I got caught up in Mr. Johns class finishing up a test" Grayson says while putting her down carefully. As they walk to Callie's the walk was silent. No laughing or joking. Just silence. Right before they got to her house Grayson quietly asks.

   "Callie, what if me and you wasn't friends?" He looks down sadly.

   Callie looks up and smiles. "If me and you wasn't friends then I don't know where I would be. I would be lonely and have no friends, that's for sure." She pulls him into a hug. "Your my best friend and I wouldn't trade you for the world" she says moving away and walking up the driveway.

      Callie grabs her keys and unlocks the front door. "Home sweet home." She says walks in taking a deep breath.

    Grayson walks in behind her and flops on the couch. "The best couch in the world is right here" he says relaxing his body into the couch.
