Hello Kentrell
Kentrell POV 🌗

Messiah swung the door open, leaning casually on the frame. "Bout time" he said. "What the hell took you so long?" He asked, stepping outside.
I shrugged. "I got caught up in some shit. You know how it go." I leaned back against the car parked halfway crooked at the curb. "You good?" I asked.
Messiah shrugged. "Define good."
"That bad, huh?"
Messiah watched a car ride pass slow. He's trying so hard not to look uncomfortable. He sat on the hood next to me. "So anyway, my cousin moved in not too long ago. His Penthouse in L.A. having ass. Well...used to."
"Yeah?" I said, before I glanced up toward the house, without thinking about it.
The front door cracked open slightly. Someone stood there for a second. Clean shirt, long curly hair, still posture, and definitely looked foreign from here. He stepped back inside.
"That's him?" I asked.
"Yeah, he quiet. Actually, too quiet." Messiah replied.
Before I could respond, a car door slammed behind us hard as fuck. We both turned and saw Ja walking down the sidewalk like he was on a mission. His right-hand man, Smallie, trailing behind him. 6'1, 345lbs.
Ja stopped in front of us. Didn't say shit to me, just stared at Messiah. "Why you block me again?"
Messiah scoffed. "That's not a question I have to answer."
Smallie leaned against a loose mailbox, making it creak. Ja looked at me. "Trell, tell him to stop playing with me!"
"Man ain't nobody playing!" Messiah said to him.
Ja shook his head in disappointment. "You so toxic"
"I'm toxic?!" Messiah asked. "You almost ran me off the road the other night and I'm toxic!?"
Ja crossed his arms. "So? You said we could still be cool."
"That was before you almost tried to kill me!"
"Man I'm not tryna hear all that! Who you been fuckin around with???"
Like on cue, the front door opened a few inches, catching our attention. The cousin stepped out halfway, just enough to see what was happening. He froze when he realized he walked into tension.
Ja slowly looked at Messiah. "Oh..." Ja said slowly. "That's why."
"That's not why." Messiah replied.
Ja laughed once. Short and sharp. "You move on so quick! I know that hole tired."
"That's my cousin!" Messiah snapped.
Ja scrunched his face. "You think I'm fucking stupid!? I heard that one before!"
Messiah ran a hand over his face. "Go home, Ja. Forreal. You're embarrassing yourself."
Ja looked like he wanted to argue more, but instead, he took two steps backward. "This shit ain't finished."
"It is. Just like us." Messiah calmly told him.
Ja pointed at him. "You think it is."
Then he turned and walked off with Smallie, getting in his car, and leaving.
He exhaled. "And now my cousin think this is regular."
"It is regular...."
Block goes quiet the way it always do after noise. Basically, everybody pretending they wasn't just watching.
The front door opens wider and he steps out slowly, like he was unsure. He glanced left then he glanced right, then he glanced at me. He started walking down the steps like he's trying not to look uncomfortable. He almost tripped on the third one but caught himself fast.
I pretended like I ain't see that.
"Everything ok, Messiah?" he asked.
His voice is softer than I expected. It's not weak though.
"Yeah, that was just my stalker ass ex." He replied, before sighing and shaking his head. "I knew this ass would get me in some trouble one of these days."
Messiah's cousin looked at me fully now. He's just assessing, like he's trying to decide what category I fall under. "That didn't bother you?" He asked me.
"What???"
He looked a little dumbfounded. He gestured vaguely down the street. "All that. Your friend having a stalker..."
Messiah chuckled. "Ramel please, it's not that serious."
Ramel ignored him, still looking at me. I shrugged. "Wasn't about me." I told him.
He squints slightly like that answer annoyed him. "So if it was?" he pressed.
Messiah looked between us. "Can y'all not?..."
I tilted my head. "Then it would be handled."
Ramel went quiet. I can tell he's not intimidated though. He's just recalculating, as he stood next to Messiah. A car drove by slow, behind us. The sound of the engine gave it away. I'm pretty sure it's Ja's.
"As far as Ja, you'll get used to it." Messiah told him.
"I don't need to get used to anything." Ramel replied, quick.
I almost smiled at that. He don't play about his people, I guess.
He crossed his arms like he realized he snapped too fast and tried to smooth it out. "I just mean... let me know if he comes by again."
Mr. Barry opened the front door and peeked his head out "Messiah! My back is killing me man, come step on it! Do a lil two step on this shit."
Messiah sighed, then told us "I'll be back." before going inside.
The door shut behind Messiah and Ramel didn't rush to go inside. He stayed where he was. He glanced toward the door like he was debating it though, but then looked back at me instead.
"So." he said.
"So..." I answered.
He shifted his body a little. "You from here?" he asked.
"Yeah." I answered.
"Whole life?"
"Yeah."
He nodded like that confirmed something in his head. "That explains it."
"Explains what?"
"You act like nothing shakes you."
"Most of this shit doesn't..." I said, slightly shrugging.
He tilted his head slightly. "That's not healthy either."
I looked at him. "You analyze everybody like this?"
"Only when I'm trying to understand them..."
Growing suspicious, I asked "Why you trying to understand me?"
That made him pause and his mouth slightly opened like he had an answer ready, then he switched it. "I'm not." he said.
"Mhmm."
He caught that and his eyes narrowed a little. "You real smug for somebody standing in front of a duplex." he said.
I let that sit for a little before I replied with "You real comfortable for somebody who just moved in."
That landed, not harshly, but true. He looked past me at the street, then back at me, and he stared for a second... then laughed. Short & embarrassed, but trying not to be.
"You don't know me." he said quietly.
"I know enough...."
"Yeah? And what's enough?"
"You care about how you look out here."
He glanced down at his shirt like it told on him. "That's called self respect."
I nodded. "Nothing wrong with that."
He held my eye contact longer this time. "You think I can't handle this?" he asked.
"I think you're deciding if it's worth handling."
Silence stretched between us and it wasn't awkward. Just thick. A kid rode by on a bike yelling something I didn't catch and a dog barked back like it understood.
Ramel shifted closer without realizing it. "You always answer questions with statements?" he asked.
"Something like that."
"That's annoying."
"You're still here."
He stared at me. "You flirt like that with everybody?" he asked.
I shrugged. "Only when I'm trying to understand them."
He caught it immediately and his lips twitched. "You not cute."
"Wasn't tryna be."
We stood there a second too long again, until he broke it first. "I'm Ramel." he said, like I didn't already know.
"Kentrell."
"Kentrell..." he repeated it once under his breath. Testing it.
I don't know why that did something to me, but it did.
He took a small step towards his uncle's house. "I'm not staying here long." he said.
"Okay." I said, nonchalant.
"That wasn't an invitation for you to not care."
"I didn't say it was."
He studied me one more time. "You're weird." he decided.
"I've been called worse."
He nodded once like he accepted that. Right before he went inside, he looked back at me. "See you around..." he said before going in.
I chuckled slightly to myself. "Will do..."
6 HOURS LATER 🌑
"Oh fuck!!! Shit! Yes Trell, oh my—fuck!" Ramel moaned as I stroked my dick in and out of him. My chains wildly bouncing off my upper chest.
"You feel that dick? Pretty ass." I said, smacking his ass.
"Yesss-s-s-s I f-feel it!" He arched lower into the sheets.
I re-gripped his waist and continued drilling him. His sounds filled my room from wall to wall.
