dan sighed, biting his lip and pushing the door a little bit. he was almost reluctant to go inside. the larger part of his brain told him that phil was mad at him and they weren't on talking terms and he did not want to go in there and get insulted. the other, small and foolish side of his brain just tried reassuring him that phil left the door open for him to enter.

and of course being dan, he went with the foolish part. he opened the door quietly and took silent steps towards the constant slapping of skin. he was almost scared to go any further because it seemed like phil was busy and he really did not want dan here but dan had come so far and there was no point in turning back.

maybe he should have, because when he took another step and peeked his head over the wall to look inside the room, he was heartbroken to say the least to find phil and another guy in the bed, doing that and dan shut his eyes and placed his hand against his mouth in shock, retracting back and leaning against the wall, his knees buckling.

why the hell did he ever think phil could have feelings for him too? it was painful to watch phil so close to another man when just a few days back he had dan on his lap and wrapped around his finger and this was where they hugged for the first time and they watched movies and they cuddled and dan was confused. how could phil just forget what happened 48 hours ago? was doing this to people normal for him?

dan did not know when he started crying and when whimpers starting escaping his mouth and when phil paused his actions to listen to the sound. he did not know when phil put on his boxers, telling pj to wait for a second so he could go check and when he was approaching a crying dan leaning against his room wall.

he did not see the look of absolute panic on phil's face when he found that dan had been watching him all along.
