You and the Elric Brothers stood before Cornello and Rose, witnessing Ed revealing his metal arm and leg. You stared at Ed for a few seconds to get a good look at his metal arm. It looked well maintenance and crafty.

"Well that does answer a riddle. Why the military would give a pup like you such a stern name...Fullmetal." Cornello mocked Ed's title. "But it's literal." He added, you turned and stared him down. "You see Rose, alchemist forbid their own to transforming lead into gold. But there's on practice more taboo...a technique forbidden by man and nature itself...on human souls." He spoke the last words with venom in his voice.

Cornello's words grabbed your attention as well as Rose's. You noticed the boys weren't saying anything and looked at them, heads hung like scolded children. You gripped your gun hard in your fist.

"You miserable little boys. Dabbling in human alchemy not knowing it's penalty. YOU STEPPED ON THE TOES OF GOD!!!!" Cornello gives a psychotic smile with a spark of victory in his eyes.

"You don't know the story!" Al spoke up.

"Al!" Ed stopped his brother from saying any more.

You looked back at Cornello wearing the face of victory.

"We just wanted to..." Al began as flashbacks of his mother alive and well, then him and Ed standing before her grave. "...we just wanted to see mom's face again. See her smile..." he added, his voice sounding like he's about to cry.

"But you failed, didn't you?!" Cornello shouts, adding fire to the fuel.

Al couldn't say anything, Ed clutched his fists.

"Yeah I'd label that a failure, alright. Al lost his whole body and I lost an arm and a leg. I ignored every sign because I was reckless and I wanted it bad enough...but someone told me to stay away from that and I didn't listen...which then cost them their life." He added, his fists shaking as memories of a smiling silhouette then to them laying still against the bloodied wall.

Al's armor shook as if he was on the verge of tears after what Ed said.

"Rose...this is what happens when you try to bring back what's dead." Ed lifted his metal arm to give Rose a better look at it. "You really want to go through with that?!" He stared hard at her with his bright stern golden eyes.

Rose looked right back at him not knowing what to say when Cornello gently placed his hand on her shoulder causing her to look up at him.

"Don't let then worry you, Rose. You forget that the great sun god Leto has blessed me with the Philosopher stone." Cornello says sweetly showing his ring that had a small red stone on it. "Besides, I've had more experience then these heretic boys did." He added, giving the brothers a sly grin.

"Don't be stupid, no matter what kind of powers you have, some things can't be done!" Ed steps in, protesting the priest's claim.

"Oh? Then why are you so anxious to get this stone? You want to be the laws of equivalence as I do and bring your mommy back." Cornello's voice boomed in the room with triumph.

"Wrong holy man!" Ed disagreed. "All we want is to get our bodies normal again. See, we don't lie about what's possible. We didn't start a cult." Ed proclaimed with a cocky smirk.

Cornello growled.

"We will ask you one more time. Please give us the stone." Al held out his hand.

"You are dammed to State Alchemist. May the wrath of God fall upon your head." Cornello smirked.

"Stop hiding behind that crap! Get down here and I'll show you some wrath!" Ed shouts.

You stayed silent, your gaze never moving away from the priest or Rose. Then suddenly you noticed a red glow behind Cornello as Rose stepped back.

"Sinners!!" Cornello shouts and pulls out a machine gun, aiming it at the three of you.

You fired your gun at him right when he fired at you, his bullets causing sand to create a large sand cloud. You shut your eyes waiting to be shot but the feeling never came. You blinked open your eyes to see a stone wall standing firm before you.

"Close call." Ed let's out a nervous laugh, you noticing that Ed made the wall since his hand is up against it.

"Father Cornello!" Cray's voice shouts along with the echo of many footsteps.

You and the boys turn to see Cray at the entrance with some backup, glaring at you.

"You..." Cray growled, pulling out his gun and began shooting at you but Al stood in front of you and blocked the bullets as they ricocheted off his armor.

You automatically pulled out your gun and began shooting at Cray then managed to shoot his gun out of his hand.

"Al! (Name)! This way!" You heard Ed yell as you looked to your left, to see Ed running towards the side of the room towards the wall.

You and Al followed behind.

"Idiot! You're running into a dead end!" Cornello laughed.

"Like I always say, can't find a door...you make your own!" Ed says as he clapped his hands together and pressed them against the wall, creating a huge metal door.

Cornello's eyes grew wide as you an the boys made your leave, running down the hall. Cray and his men chased after you three, all your footsteps echoing in the halls basically giving and way your location.

"Where's the nearest exit?!" Ed huffed, looking around anxiously.

"I don't know!" Al replied.

You stayed quiet, looking for a way to escape when you felt a bullet skim past you, almost grazing your left cheek. Ed looked back and gritted his teeth.

"Don't let them escape!" Cray orders.

You needed to give the boys time to find an exit so you skidded to a stop and faced your pursuers. You then touched your fingertips together, chanting.

"Balwisyall nescell gungnir tron." You chanted, being then surrounded by a glow as your bow emerged from the ground and into your grasp.

Ed and Al heard your chant and halted to a stop.

"(Name) what are you doing?!" Al shouts.

"You're not thinking on fending them off are you?" Ed looked at you with a irritated look.

You looked over your shoulder straight at the Elric brothers, causing them to jump. You had this look in your eyes that said, "talk one more time and you're dead...". They both gulped as you turned back around and pulled out an arrow from nowhere, clipping it to the string and pulling it back, aiming for your target. You waited until your pursuers came closer while blocking out Ed's and Al's voices telling you to shoot. When Cray and his men got close enough, you tilted your arrow up to the ceiling and fired. Cray and his men ducked and stared at the arrow. Cray then slowly looked back at you holding out your right hand, your eyes glossed over.

"Imuyteus ame no habakiri tron." You chanted, commanding the arrow to glow brighter and brighter until it exploded like it did in the room where they fought Cornello's creations.

The explosion didn't harm the men but caused the ceiling to crumble in front of them, creating a wall of rubble. You brought your hand back to your side then turned and joined the brothers. You ran past them as they stared at you with shock and admiration then followed after you.

{Outside}

You and the boys managed to escape, resting somewhere in the streets. Ed sat at the bottom of a sun god statue while you leaned up against it.

"Why did they treat us like we were evil? If we really wanted the stone at all cost, we would've taken it by now." Al said, standing next to his brother.

Ed stayed quiet looking a little annoyed.

"The Philosopher stone..." you spoke, catching Ed and Al's attention. "Is it true that you wanted to claim it to make your bodies normal again?" You added, pushing off the statue and stepped towards them, then quickly pressed your gun up against Ed's forehead. "Or were you just planning on really trying to bring your mother back, your deceased mother." You looked down at Ed's stunned face, your (e/c) eyes glossed over, looking empty like you had no soul in your body.

Ed couldn't say anything since he did have a gun pressed up against his head, at any moment a bullet will be flying through him.

"(Name)! Wait we can explain--" Al slowly touched your arm that held the gun only to have you swing your arm, knocking Al's helmet off, revealing an empty suit of armor.

AL stumbled back at the impact. You pointed your gun at Al then grabbed a hand full of Ed's hair, making him grit his teeth.

"...or maybe you were aiming towards using that stone to bring back someone else. The one who was smart enough to tell the both of you to stop playing as God. You feel responsible for that person's life and want to return it, giving them a second chance. "You said, both Ed and Al looked and you with despair at the regret they were carrying. "You both knew it was forbidden and I could easily lock you up for your crimes." You finished.

You noticed the blood seal inside Al's armor. You closed your eyes and breathed out your nose, lowering your gun and releasing Ed's hair. You shoved your gun back on your belt then looked at the two of them.

"We...we really want to get our bodies back." Al stuttered, slowly picking up his helmet and placed it back on. "We never want to go through that again and do that to her like we did to mom..." Al's armor shook, showing that he was crying.

"I know that what I did was forbidden...but I will do whatever it takes to make things right." Ed said standing up and looked straight at you. "So I'll do anything to get our hands on the Philosopher stone and get our bodies back! That's what mom and Yui would want!" Ed proclaims.

When he said that person's name again, you blinked your eyes and twitched a little bit but the brothers didn't notice.

"People of Leor, this evening a group of unbelievers tried to take the life of the great prophet Father Cornello. One short and blonde, the other wearing armor, and a female state alchemist. Father Cornello asked you all to stay in your homes, he's worried for the safety of this town. Please take all necessary precautions." Cray's voice echoed through the town speakers.

After a few minutes you and the Elric Brothers were surrounded.

"No question guys they're the ones! The short newcomer, his tinman, and the military's lapdog." One of the citizens with a grey beard growled, insulting the three of you.

Ed's veins popped after being called short.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A LOWS PIPSQUEAK?!" Ed shouts in the man's face.

"NOBODY SAID THAT! NOW BACK OFF!" the man shot back. "We got more important business to settle!" He added.

Ed looked annoyed as he scratched his head with his index finger.

"What kind of depraved souls are you? Who would go after the Prophet?" A young man shouts.

"We welcomed you here. You made us believe you were good!" a woman added.

"Look lady, I never asked you to believe anything. That's your priest. He's a phony, he's just using alchemy." Ed explains.

"Liar!" Shouts a familiar voice.

You and the boys looked forward ad the crowd parted to reveal Rose standing there with a look of hate.

"Just now, my boyfriend spoke to me. Cornello is bringing him back." Rose proclaims, catching yours, Ed's, and Al's attention.

"You mean ol' Kain we lost in the accident? He was a good kid! Good for you Rose!" A man said with glee in his voice.

"There you see? He's not the first either, there are many others who uave come back!" A woman adds to Rose's defense.

You couldn't believe what you were hearing...Cornello brought back the dead...? Is it possible...? No it can't. You clutched your hands into tight fists.

"Has anyone actually seen these people close up? Cause I heard they all left town as soon as they were brought back!" Ed shot back.

Suddenly the ground started to shake, thumping sounds getting louder and louder as you and the boys witnessed moving sun god statues. The citizens looked astonished. Then the next thing you know, 7 statues surrounded you, Ed, and Al. Ed noticed Cray standing outside the circle of statues with a smirk on his face. Suddenly one of the statues thrusts their staff towards Al's gut, throwing him to the ground.

"Al--ghhh!" Ed cried but a statue struck his head, knocking him to the ground.

You watched as the two boys were being attacked especially Al as the statues began beating Al's armor up. You then automatically pressed your fingertips together and chanted.

"Balwisyall nescell gungnir tron." You took hold of your bow and shot your arrow at one of the attacking statues that were harming Al and held out your right hand.

"Imuyteus ame no habakiri tron." You chanted as your arrow exploded on the statue, causing it to crumble to pieces.

The crowd gasped and stepped back, faces showing fear. Then a bullet skimmed your cheek as you turned your attention to Cray, you pulled out your gun and pointed it at Cray.

"Stop this right now or I will shoot." You projected.

"I don't take orders from a lapdog of the military." Cray glared at you then fired again, you ducked and hid behind the statue just then it swung at you, making you roll out of the way. You crouched to the ground and pointed your...your gun was gone. It was back by the statue you dodged.

Suddenly a hand holding a hanker chief covered your mouth and nose, catching you off guard, you inhaled the scent that was on it and instantly passed out, eyes rolled back as your body slumped in your captors arms. Ed witnessed your struggle as your captor tied a cloth over your mouth and hoisted you over their shoulders carrying you away. But Ed couldn't do anything as he as well slowly lost consciousness.
