"Hmm lets see Rice,Cereal,Grains....where does he keep the grapes?" A dark haired girl named Rachael explored the massive kitchen of a being.

Her self made pack was beginning to slow her down already filled with food rations she packed to help keep plenty of food due to the little problem of the being's creature.

Rachel has heard many stories of the beings' 'Pets' grabbing a hold of borrowers and literally shaking them and eating them to death. Some crush them like a younger being would if they got a hold on a borrower.

Rachel's bare feet came to a holt as she seen the large bowl of fruit. A wide smile came on her face as she darted across the wide countertop rushing to a nearby grape hanging off the edge.

She pulled a nearby soda bottle cap near her as a stepping stoll as she began reaching for the large red grape.

As he fingers touched the soft piece her face grew pale at the sound of heavy footsteps.

"No no n-" Her body fell as the counter shook violently. The bowl shook near her as the sight of an apple threatened to collapse on her near the edge. Once the the quick quake stopped she examined her surroundings as she could see it's massive claws on the counter.

The large creature stalked over the tiny girl. It's head rose up above the fruit bowl. It's massive snout hovered above the counter as it searched the area where she was previously.

It was the being's Pet!

Ducking behind the fruit bowl her heart was speeding dramatically as the load sound above her made her small form tremble.

Inhale....Huff...Inhale...Huff!

It was tracking her...it knew she was here. Her head lifted as the quick shake of the counter was felt along with more of the creature's sniffing.

The raven headed girl looked at the reminder of the apple. It moved closer toward the edge casting a haunting shadow above as she began moving her feet slowly toward the next available spot.

Her feet stoped as the sound of a load scratching caused her to cover her ears.  Followed by a load and massive quake!

Her body bounced up as the apple dropped causing her to fall.

Throwing her over by the edge of the counter, her body halfway off as her fingers clenched the edge. The view of the long deep fall would leave her dead.

Her head moved up as she was meet with the 'pet' It was humungous!

It's whole body was now over the table casting a shadow that could block the sun.

It's long snout moved toward her direction as it's paws lifted slamming there was down on each side of the edge. Her body movint closer to the edge as she pushed herself up as the creature's face lowered.

Her face being met with it's large black nose showing her horror filled face.

Her eyes widened as she quickly used her hook to ram into the a preset hole quickly sliding down the massive counter only to feel the pet grab the hook in its mouth lifting her up as she held onto it tightly. A panicked scream left her lips before she let go landing on the soft carpet skinning her knee in the process.

Looking back she seen the pet moving around the hook before eventually

'Yelp!'

She watched as the pet ended up falling off the counter shaking it's head as the hook stayed on it's mouth.

Before Rachel could react though the massive light came on followed by the quaking footsteps of the being who was holding a look of confustion and fear.

"Buster what's wrong? What's in your mouth?"

Rachel used her chance to bolt running to the closest hole she could find. Holding her bag she calmed herself running deeper in the walls.

The being knelt down holding up the german shepherd's head as he gently removed the small earring hook from the dog's mouth. "Bud you can't eat..."

He stopped noticing the long thread string tied on the other end.

Looking at his counter he rasied a brow as he noticed the scratches from his dog's claws. Looking at his new find he held it in a fist before give a quick whistle to his companion. "Come on Buster you stay in my room tonight" He headed to his room as his pet quickly followed.

Turning off the light, his eyes looked back as his dog jumped on his bed. Staring at the kitchen counter from the dark hall,before he shut the door behind.
