We're currently getting ready for graduate and I'm so ready for this to be over with like literally.

"You ready to get this over with." Elijah ask me.

"Hell yeah. So glad school is over. No more waking up so fucking early in the morning."

"Yass, walking up at 6 o'clock is not the business."

"It's really not. On top that we didn't learn shit for 13 or 14 years."

"I mean we learned how to read and count, add multiple and subtract money."

"But we didn't learn how to pay bills, or a car note."

"I mad that there all the sudden the teaching kids Spanish and geometry in freaking 2nd grade and my slow ass going out the world empty handed."

"Well look on the bright side we're grown now."

"That is not a bright side for a black man." I said. I mean am I lying though that not a bright side I'm more able to go jail now just for some little ass shit like J-walking. Look at today they legalized weed but still sending black men jail for 20 years just for smoking a joint or even having it in your presence.

"Well your right about that. Let just not think about the negative right now let just be happy." He smiled at me. "You should be happy you graduate so that means no more school plus you got boyfriend on your side cheering you on."

"Are y'all boys ready yet." My dad ask.

"You know Elijah you can call me dad or pops I mean since I know you and Big head over there are going to be together for a long time." My dad said.

Anyway after my dad said all that goody goody stuff me and Elijah family headed out.

After 2 hours of lying ass speeches, lame ass choir singing the national, listening to 680 kids names and taking pictures with family and friends we headed home to eat.

Me and Elijah family decide to have it at his house  since his backyard was big.

Hey you notice this only time black people come together for is during a get together. That some sad shit but niggas do have to work and shit.

We were talking to family eating and laughing. Even Dru fake ass was trying to talk to me. Idc honestly he's still my brother and I love him but as long as he don't get out of line with Eli then we good.

"So what's good with you and my cousin." This dude who obviously look like he gets his genes on Elijah father side.

(This was going to be Elijah other brother but I remember he only had one brother and also this nigga is not cute to me at all maybe cause I don't like light skin niggas like that some are fine but most of them are not my cup of cappuccino.)

"Elijah my boyfriend we been dating for a month now." I told him.

"Oh so your fresh meat A?"

"Fresh meat?"

"Yeah, we ruff up the new boyfriends to see if your weak minded or to see if can at least stick up for yourself."

"I believe you. Did My dad, And my uncle Kristian scared you a little bit."

"Hell yeah do you see them Swoll ass niggas over there hell yeah they scared me." He started laughing hard.

"Yeah they do every man like that but they mean no harm their very cool people. I know one thing Elijah loves them look at him." I look over at Elijah play with uncles laughing. That brought so much joy to my heart. I can tell that every time they're around they make him and that all that matter to me.

"Every time he's with them he's happy that always been like since we was babies."

"Did his dad every get jealous about that?" I asked

"At first but eventually he got over it."

"That good." I said look at Elijah walking up to me.

"Are you having fun." He ask me smiling.

I smile back. "Yas I am."

He look over at his cousin. "What y'all talking about. Y'all looking mighty suspicious."

Me and his cousin look at each bust out laughing. "What why we got to look suspicious." Ask His cousin.

"Come on Daniel your like a brother to me. You always talking shit."

"No, when have I ever been talking shit about you."

"I don't remember but give me a couple days I will remember." I was laughing at him and his cousin interaction cause they do have that brother thing going on.

"What's you laughing at?" Eli ask me.

"I'm laughing at y'all are entertaining."

He look at me like.

"Alright everybody the food ready first come first serve." Mr. Carter said to us.

Elijah grab my wrist pulling me to the food.

We was the third people to get in line. We got our food and ate.

After eating all the teenagers where talking laughing. The grow kids where smoking and talking. The parents were playing dominos drinking beer.

I smile cause I will being cherish this moment forever.

(It about it get real again I'm coming for black gays real quick y'all are so fake I swear y'all very hypocritical.) I write this shit two weeks ago it feel like a month.
