As the late afternoon turned into early evening the empress relaxed, the day was finished. it had been a nice peaceful day, then came a knock to the front door of the castle. She could faintly hear Sage dragging his feet across the marble floor to go answer it. 

Please don't let it be anything to drastic, she thought . As soon as the knock was applied to her door she stood. 

"It's open," She said.

Sage opened the door and looked to her.

"Sorry miss, there's a warlock fella here to see you," He explained.

"Oh,do bring him in, please." 

He nodded then left to go get the warlock. Two minutes later Daniel walked in the room.

"Daniel it's so good to see you, sit down with me." She said to him.

"It's good to see you too." He replied, taking a seat.

"Did you have any trouble getting here?" She inquired.

"No, I made it here faster than usual," He informed her.

"Oh good, how are you?" She asked.

He looked at her, his expression depressing and pitiful. 

"That good huh?" 

Hanging him head down, he softly whispered, "I'm miserable." 

"I'll do whatever I can to help you through it." 

"I wish I could bring her back, just see her again." He confessed.

"I'm great with magic but I'm no necromancer." She explained.

"I wouldn't really ask that of you. I'm lost, stumbling through my days," He said to her.
