Ridge's Pov

When she ran I tried to grab her, to get to Duncan myself. She was to fast, fleeting my helpful grasp and risking herself, she pushed Kaz away, saving her from her impending doom and attacking with her bare hands, she became bloodied quickly. I hoped to god it wasn't hers as she stabbed him repeatedly, letting her red dress become browner. She then stood and turned her eyes turning a deep black as she whispered my name, clutching over her heart.

"No, stay with me!" I yelled running over to her and picking her up, her eyes quickly became filled with tears as she smiled.

"Kaz is ok, you're ok, I'm just a mortal." She whispered my tears falling on her bloodied cheeks, how could I express that she was so much more than that to me.

"No! No! You are worth more than my immortality, you are worth more that this whole planet!" I sobbed trying to make her see her importance.

"Don't cry, just know I love you more than every breath I have taken." She whispered, lifting her hand frailly and stroking my cheek.

"As do I!" I whispered as her hand fell and her eyes lost their deep brown color. She was gone, her heartbeat had stopped. NO! I couldn't accept it.

"No! Wake up! Wake up please! I need you! We all need you!" I yelled shaking her body as I tried to make her wake up. I then felt a hand on my shoulder, and as I turned I saw a crying Kaz, a pained smile on her face.

"I never got to make her see, just how much she meant!" I sobbed as Kaz knelt down and hugged me.

"She gave her life for mine, be proud and don't let her die in vane!" Kaz said letting her tears drip to the floor freely.

"I won't, just send out the call to everyone!" I said holding back the tears I wanted to shed and standing, keeping her limp body in my arms.

"And I'll have to replace the carpet again!" Kaz sighed looking down at Duncan's dead body and the blood seeped into the entryway carpet, I sighed.

"Let's get to work." I said placing Jacs body on a couch and walking with Kaz to the cleaning closet.
