Vegeta's POV

I still remember kakarot screaming vividly in my head as he coughed up blood. His screams... i was repeating over and over in my head. It's been 20 minutes since we found out kakarot is in universe 8. And we haven't found him yet. "Whis, how longer till we find Goku...?" It still seems like beerus is mad, but i think he calmed down a bit. "Actually Beerus, i don't know how long it will take, since this is the first time in universe 8, but i am going as fast as i can." Beerus just stayed quiet. "Vegeta." Y-yes lord beerus? "Tell me if you sense ANY sort of power level the is close to Goku's." Okay lord beerus. 

We keep passing by planets. There was one that looked weird. One thats red. And has two moons. 

Hmm... strange planet.

We keep searching. And searching... and searching. But no luck so far. I'm starting to worry for kakarot. H-his he dead? No... his a saiyan. He can't die from just pain... I just hope he's okay tho...

What am i saying?! Of course he'll be okay! H-his Kakarot after all! A saiyan... who mastered ultra instinct. Wait... Can't kakarot just use ultra Instinct to free himself?! Whis? "Yes vegeta?" Can't kakarot just use Ultra Instinct to free himself? "Vegeta, its not that simple, since he is a mortal, after all, he hasn't learned to acquire it when ever he feels like it. He has to be forced to go into that state. Like when his on edge, like about to lose a fight, or almost die." Hmm... wait, so if kakarot stays in that pain, he might, just might, get into ultra instinct? "I mean, only if about to die from the pain." Okay... we'll find him before he even needs to go to ultra instinct, and if he goes go into the state, at least he'll be able to free himself...

I then sense a power level, a bit similar to kakarot's, but i also sense another power level. But it's weak. Beerus! "Hmm?" I sense a power level like Kakarot's. "Whis." "I heard him lord beerus." Lord Beerus, its coming from... That purple planet, with a half moon?! Woah... "Whis you heard him, let's go check it out." "Right away lord beerus."

Goku's POV

I screamed in agony as i coughed up more blood then the last one. "Oh! You seem to be losing a lot of blood!" "Heh... serves you right..." I start to scream louder and louder as i start to feel my chest completely covered in my blood, i could feel the waves killing me. A slow, very, very painful death. I start to have flashbacks of my childhood. 

When bulma found me in the woods. When i found Chichi and brought her back with me to her dad using nimbus. I remember Grandpa Gohan taking a bath with me. When we fought Vegeta... And when me and krillin were training with master roshi. Those were the good old days... I then cough up more blood. I can't open my eyes. It feels like they've been burned or poked out. I can feel as if the blood i coughed up was going to be the last blood i would cough up. I started to cough and wess as i started to breath quicker. There was no blood coming out of me anymore. 

"Hmm... no more blood to cough out? Hmph. Whelp, i'll just cut you all over your body, so that you can die quicker. I don't need you anymore you disrespectful beta."

I couldn't hear hear him anymore, all i can hear is my screams of agony, the waves, they were very painful to my ears, at it was really high pitched. I can also hear my friends, my sons, my wife, and myself, talking, having fun, before i came here. Were i would die alone... I then felt a sharp knife against my chest. 

I could feel the sharp object slowly stab by chest, as it glides into my chest, and move around. AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! "Hmph, scream, scream as loud as you want, but you will die, by my hands." "And no one will help you." I screamed in extreme pain, as he glided the knife, across my chest, soon making a 'X' mark. I can feel my blood, pouring out my chest, from the damage Cado, no... the monster did on my chest. He started to cut at my arms, hands, and cut up my pants, slash here and slash there. As if he enjoyed my pants being ruined.

I couldn't even scream anymore, it's as if pain broke my vocal cords. All i could do was whimper in pain as i was slowly started to slip away from reality. After a few minutes. He stopped slashing me. "There. You look better than before!" I could feel myself covered in deep, long cuts, which are streaming with blood. "Hmph... Nothing? Silent? Fine... I'll just end it for you." I slowly opened my eyes. My head looking down He held the knife up to my neck. "Any last words?" 

... I-it's not over...

"Hmm?" "What was it you just said? 'It's not over'?" "Well, actually is over for you." I started to feel my blood running like rockets in my veins. I could feel my heart beating faster and faster then ever before, more then when i fought jiren. I slowly rose my head and looked at the monster in front of me with a dead glare. "S-silver E-e-eyes?!" "I T-thought the symbol on your chest would stop turning you into t-this!" You've thought wrong... I broke out of the chains and the clamps on my hands, and feet. He started to back up from, from pure fear. S-stay back! I b-bought you! And you shouldn't have... I walked up to him, and stared down as i saw him trying to crawl away. I placed my foot over his neck, so that he couldn't crawl away.

I clenched my fists. I feel... weird... I looked down to see the monster struggling under my foot. I just gave him a dead stare and he immediately stopped. "i-i-i'm sorry! Please! F-forgive me! I-i'll tell you what universe your in!" Spill it. I growled at him. "W-w-were in universe 8-8, Now please let me g-go!" 

Hmph. I don't think you deserve to live. Just a minute ago you were about to end my live smiling, now look at you. Struggling under my foot. I stepped harder on him. And heard cracks, i saw him scream. I probably broke his rebs. I then move my foot of him. As i do that, he tries to run away. 

Uh uh uh. Your not leaving... I pick him up by the throat with my right hand. He started to choke, as i rose him higher where he could not hold his footings. "P-p-please, don't kill me!" Hmph. I squished his neck with both my hands. As he struggled to breath, he started to slip away. Oh you're not gonna slip away like that. I then remove my other hand off, pressed hard...

And broke his neck.

I dropped the monster. I looked down at the lifeless body. I then started to feel weak. And my vision getting blurry. All of a sudden, i heard a crash to my side. I looked at my right, as i saw Whis, Beerus, and Vegeta shocked and looking at me.

V-vegeta...?

I then fell over and blacked out.

Vegeta's POV

As Whis followed where i pointed. We soon landed in a city, that looked abandoned. At least we thought so. I could hear someone begging, but it was faint. I-is that kakarot? No... it doesn't sound like him. "Whis, you hear that?" "Yes Lord beerus, i did." Let's follow it. We started to fly and follow the voice of someone begging.

"i-i-i'm sorry! Please! F-forgive me! I-i'll tell you what universe your in!"

Hmm? Lord Beerus, you heard that? "Of course Vegeta." It feels sounds like its a few buildings away. Let's hurry! We started to fly toward the voice of a man begging. And then, we heard a crack and everything went quiet. "Beerus, can you feel that?" "Y-yes, i can... it has to be Goku, there's someone using ultra instinct on the other side of this wall..."

W-well then what are we doing waiting?! I then crash to the wall. Landing into a room. It was quiet, but i did heard drops. Like water drops, splatter on the floor. As the dust calmed down. I noticed white hair.

Whis, Lord Beerus, and I were shocked to see kakarot in ultra instinct form, and see a dead body next to him. I then noticed blood all over him, and cuts... Deep cuts. I also saw agony in his eyes. kak- i couldn't say his name...

"V-vegeta...?"

Kakarot then fell over, going back to black hair. Kakarot! I caught him before he could hit the ground. I looked devastated, when i saw an 'X' mark on his chest, his whole chest was completely covered in blood, and so was the rest of his body. 

"Oh dear..."
