Minji's POV

The walk became intense after awhile. But I'd be darned if I give up now. I'm almost home.

Just as the thought crossed my mind. Out of the corner of my eye I see an all to familiar red vehicle pull up beside me.

I rolled my eyes and ignored my burning legs. Before speeding up and walking ahead of his car.

"Come on Minji. Don't be like this" he said.

I didn't say anything. Nor did I slow down my stride.

"Yahhh Minji-ah your unbelievable. Just get in the car."

"No! Leave me alone!"

I yelled not sparing him a glance.

"Is this how your going to be from now on? Are you going to keep being angry at me?" He asked.

And as if he flipped a switch. The whole reason why I was mad at him in the first place. Flashed across my mind in short burst.

From the argument, to the cheating.

FLASHBACK TO THAT NIGHT...

Rain poured down outside. And so did it from my eyes. As Baekhyun and I stared at each other.

The argument started over the smallest thing you can think of. Me telling him not to leave the toilet seat up because you know. I don't want to go for a swim at one in the morning.

When it escalated like no other. And Baekhyun muttered the rudest of words.

"You were a loner before I came along! Who would you be without me huh? Why do you think your dad left? Why do you think your mom liked me more!" He spat.

My mouth dropped open. And out of reflex, I smacked him across his face.

I knew it didn't hurt him. But oh, how I wish it did.

"Who are you to talk about that! You know nothing about omma!! Or my father you bastard! I should've just let Kai finish you off when he had a chance!" I yelled.

And judging by his facial expression. I hit the nerve I wanted. The same nerve he hit not too long ago.

Baekhyun didn't say anything. As his breathing quickened, and his eyes fluctuated from their normal brown, to a blood red.
He then shook his head and turned around, walking away from me and to the door.

"Yah where you going!" I yelled after him. But he didn't slow down whatsoever. As he opened the door. And left, slamming it back. Making the cement wall around it crack due to his strength.

I dropped to my knees and cried terribly.

The arguments between Baekhyun and I have happened more frequently. Over big and small things. But tonight was different, we both crossed the line.

It was officially three in the morning.

I continued to look at Baekhyun's empty side of the bed. Feeling the regret of our earlier conversation.

I need to find him.

I then got out of bed and quickly dressed. Before grabbing my keys and leaving the apartment building.

I knew where he would go when we argued. And I assumed tonight was no different. As I approached the 24 hour bar.

Lots of people were around. As I slid past each one of them and made my way into the building. My eyes searched frantically for my brown haired lover. When I finally found him sitting at the bar.

I smiled somewhat, as I started to walk to him. But just before I could get to him. This American girl touched his shoulder making him turn around. Before she leaned in and kissed him.

It felt like hours passed. As I watched them, tears spilling over the rim of my eyes.

I lost him.

I didn't wait to see them separate. Before I left the club in a hurry. Quickly making my way to the apartment building. And packing my things. Catching the first flight back to Korea.

END OF FLASHBACK

Full on crying was what I was now. And I stopped walking.

"Minji what's-"

Baekhyun started. Before I turned around and ran into the near by trees. Trying my hardest to get away from him.

Now with my newly refreshed memory of what happened that night. I shouldn't have even let him back into my life.

Aishh I'm a real pabo.....

I had no idea where I was when I looked around. Now deep into the woods. I knew Baekhyun would pick up my scent.

So I had to keep going.

I turned around to start running again. When something dark darted past me. Making fall to the ground.

And as if it circled me. I saw a dark figure run past one tree. Then the next tree a few seconds later.

I hadn't even noticed that I was scratched. Until hands grabbed my wrist.

I screamed out of surprise. Until I met the eyes of a worried Baekhyun.

"Minji what happened? Why did you run? Who did this?" He asked throwing a hundred and one questions my way.

I snatched my arm from him. And stood to my feet.

"I'm serious Baekhyun. Leave me alone! I can take care of myself" I frowned at him. And he scoffed.

"Yeah I can see that"

He said pointing to my injured wrist.

I looked away from him when he sighed.

"Minji what can I do?" He asked throwing his hands out from his sides. His voice cracking in the process.

"What can I do? Or say to make things better between us"

"You can own up to what you did"

"I have" he reasoned. And I chuckled.

"No you haven't. You've lied all this time. To your members and everyone who wasn't there...Just own up to what you did Baekhyun!"

"Fine!" He yelled. Making me jump in surprise.

"Okay! The kiss happened alright. You basically told me that you wished I died. I wanted to hurt you. But I didn't initiate it. She did and I didn't stop her" he confessed.

"But what you didn't see. Is me pushing her off, because I realized that I was wrong"

Baekhyun said taking slow steps towards me.

"Minji I love you. More than life itself......you have to know that"

"I do Baekhyun. But I'm hurting. I don't know what you want from me?" I cried.

"To give me another chance. To give us another chance" he said placing his hands on my shoulders.

"I can't do that right now"

"Why?" He asked. His arms sadly falling back to his side.

"I just need time Baekhyun"

"But I gave you time. A years time"

"True. But when you came back. So did all the feelings from that night. Situations like this don't have time limits" I explained. And Baekhyun nodded understandingly.

A little silence passed. Before I spoke again.

"But that doesn't mean that we can never be. I don't plan on giving up on us completely" I said giving him hope. Baekhyun lifted his head in surprise at my words. Before he pulled me into his chest and hugged me.

"That's all I needed to hear. I'll wait for you. For forever if that's the case" he said making me smile.

We hugged for a few seconds. Before Baekhyun let go of me and glared at something behind me.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm afraid the members were wrong" he said walking past me. I turned around and saw a huge symbol scratched into a tree.

"Hunters aren't the only new thing in town"
