Crystal's P.O.V

"Mitch! You ok?" I ask as I knock on his door. No response.

"Mitch! Hey, you ok?" Still no response. I'm getting worried.

"Mitchell! Hey!" I say and knock harder on his door. Now I'm really worried. I turn his knob and the door opens. It's usually locked. Weird. I open the door and scream at what I see. Mitch is laying on the floor, pale as hell, with his throat slit open, and blood forming a pool.

"What the hell happened?!" Someone asks. I turn around and see Ty.

"I-I don't know! When I-I came in here t-to check on him, he w-sass on the floor l-like this!" I yell, basically sobbing.

"I'll take him to the hospital. I want you to stay here." Ty says. I nod. He takes a towel from the bathroom and wraps it tightly around Mitch's neck. He picks him up heads downstairs. I head downstairs and into my room.

"Hey Crys, you ok? I heard you scream upstairs." Sassy asks as she jumps up onto the windowsill next to me.

"N-no. I- went to check o-on Mitch, and when I-I seen him, his th-throat was slit. I d-don't know what the h-hell happened, b-but he could d-die!" I cry into my arms.

"I'm sure he's gonna survive. I can't promise it, I know he won't." Sassy says and rubs up against me.

"Y-you sure?" She nods.

"Now get some rest. I'm gonna go hang out with Jayfeather. He asked if I can teach him how to hunt strings. You better be asleep when I get back." Sassy says. And leaves. I lay down and fall asleep 5 minutes later.
