Hi everyone! Konan, here! I'll be making this first tutorial, and more in the future.

I wanted to start this off with something useful, but not too complicated. So, I'll show you how to make the light effect like you can see on this cover:

You know, that effect that makes it look sort of metallic?

Anyway, I'll show you two ways to make it.

App used:- Pixlr (on mobile)

Way #1

After you've finished everything else on your cover, click on the little brush icon at the bottom, and then click on Brighten.

When you're there, set the size to how big you want it. I usually put it at around 46, or a bit smaller.

I left the feather setting as it was, but if you change it, don't put it under 75 or your effect will start to look weird.

I set the intensity at about 70 for this one. You can put it anywhere between 50 and 100, it all depends on how strong you want the effect to be.

Then, all you have to do is to draw some lines diagonally, and BOOM! Your cover is magically more awesome!

Way #2

This time, instead of drawing, I used a template I already made:

     You can save this one if you want, or I'm sure you could find some on DeviantArt or something.

     In Pixlr, I clicked on the tools button, then I clicked on Double Exposure and chose my light effect picture.

     Once I had the picture, I made sure it was around the size of my cover.

     Then I chose the Soft Light effect. You could also take the Overlay effect, there's only a slight difference between the two.

     And you're done! This second way can probably be done on other apps like Picsart and Superimpose.

      I've never used them myself, though. This is it for the first tutorial. I hope you find it useful.
