Episode 3: Clone Crazy
Mabel sighed as she sat in a chair on the porch, sad that her love life is at a stand still for 13 years. Right then the door creaked open. Mabel jumped, not expecting anyone to be leaving so early.
It was Gideon, the boy that saved her from those fairies. When his blue eyes landed on her they were startled. "Mabel?" He asked quietly. Mabel smiled softly for she was in need of a friend.
"Hey, Gideon. How's life?" She chuckled. Gideon sat down in the chair next to her. "Why are you out here?" He ignored her question. Gideon played with his gloves.
Mabel shrugged. "I just don't like people." It wasn't a complete lie. It was true that she didn't like people. Gideon chuckled. "Sounds like something you would say. Now I know you aren't a clone."
Mabel laughed. "I wish I had a clone! Things would be a lot easier!" Mabel had created multiple plans to get her love life going, all of which involved her being in two places at the same time.
Gideon sat back and ran a gloved hand down his face. "I so agree with you on that." Mabel smiled softly. "Hey, you wanna go for a walk?" Gideon nodded, following Mabel along the sidewalk.
Mabel shivered, putting her face in her jacket. "I-It's fr-freezing." She commented. Gideon nodded thoughtfully. "It really i-is." He squinted his eyes, looking at something in the distance.
"Hey, look. I-It's an a-abandoned cabin." He shivered. Mabel noticed it, grabbing Gideon's hand and racing for the cabin. Once they walked in their faces flushed from the sudden change in temperature.
They both laughed and panted. Then they both blushed a bit upon realizing they were still holding hands. "He he, oops...." Mabel commented, raising her hand to the back of her head.
They laughed again. Mabel bumped into something, hitting her funny bone and causing her to rub at it until he pain went away. "What is this?" She asked, pulling the sheets off of it.
It was an old copy machine. The thing was rusty and had accumulated dust over the years. But when Mabel turned it on it ran pretty smoothly. "How strange...." She whispered.
When she put her hand on it she felt a sudden jolt. The machine was working it's magic, trying to copy something. When it was finished and all of the dust settled a piece of paper with an arm on it came out.
Suddenly the arm started coming off of the paper. Mabel screamed, throwing stuff at it. Gideon threw a snowball at it and it evaporated. "What was that?" He asked, horrified at what just happened.
Mabel just smiled through her pants. "I think I found that clone we were talking about."
She climbed on top of it and pressed the copy button. The machine created a life-size copy of Mabel Pines. The clone climbed out of the paper, although she was missing the pine tree on her shirt.
"Smart, Mabel, smart." Said the clone who was currently smirking. Mabel high-fived the clone and they both said in unison, "Rune!" Gideon watched the transaction with confusion written all over his face.
"Wait, what's going on?" He asked. The two girls turned to him. "I've always wanted that name and now my dreams have come true!" Mabel exclaimed. "A smart twin!"
Mabel grabbed a marker from the ground that she threw and drew a number two on Rune's shirt. Then hesitantly Mabel asked, "You won't try to take my place or anything, right?"
Rune shook her head. "Nah, we're too smart for that." Mabel smiled. "Yeah, you're right." Gideon cut in between them. "Why in the world would you need a clone, Mabel? You already have Dipper!"
Rune and Mabel answered in unison. "Dipper isn't smart enough for this." Then Mabel said, "We love our brother, no doubt about that, but he can be a little... well, I don't know what to call him, but he sure can't help us with our plan."
Gideon threw his arms in the air. "What plan?!" Mabel and Rune both exchanged a mischievous look, one not seen on Mabel much. "You'll see." Rune said. Mabel and Rune pushed Gideon out of the cabin.
"This might take a while." Rune stated. Mabel smiled softly. "Thanks for everything, Gideon." That's all Gideon needed to soften up and smile.

Paperjam Mabel was staking out with Mabel 5 and 7. "That's the signal!" Seven exclaimed. Paperjam grunted in excitement. "Go, go, go!" Five yelled, jumping onto the bike.
Paperjam pumped a fist in the air. Their job was to get a girl named Wendy away from Robbie so the others could make a distraction in order for the real Mabel to make a move.
Although Paperjam didn't really understand but she was still happy to help. Wendy ran out of the hall, cursing at the kids that stole her bike. The clones giggled, overwhelmed with joy that their plan was finally working.
A/N Hey guys! So we are leaving my aunt's house and are now going to our new house! Yes! But that also means I won't be able to write anymore but I made, like, five or six chapters so I'm good. I have two hours left. I'll live. Plus it takes me an hour to write one chapter. Erenegiv.
