It's been a couple of days since we got rid of the sick bastard Lazarus finally out of our lives to never have another opportunity to destroy anybody else's lives especially for what he did to my little rose and her family all the pain he caused them but he didn't act alone his dear father help too and he's going to get it as well, well hell I'm not going to even lie it felt good to get rid of him and plus it's not like he really actually mattered in our realm I'm just stating facts.

I look outside and see that everyone is sitting at the picnic table enjoying the nice weather that we're having along with some barbecue fresh off the grill that my father-in-law had made for all of us him to enjoy which I'm not going to lie the man is truly a genius when it comes to that grill, I shake my head to me it feels familiar nearly like the last time right before we attacked and put Lestat in the hole but we're not doing that we're enjoying our peace.

I mean last night all of us sat down at the table and all agreed that we would go together to finally pull Lestat out of the damn hole that we initially agreed to put him in for all eternity so that he can be tortured but now we've all got to pull him out get some answers and then end him just like we all did with Lazarus, I shake my head literally it's only been a few days honestly I think that his ending will be definitely more painful and lots of suffering yet none of us well even seem to care.

"Grim thank you again for being apart of my daughter's life and ours as well son-in-law" my mother-in-law says as she walks into the kitchen to grab the extra pitcher of ice tea off the kitchen table which can only mean that Luca drunk the first pitcher to himself and is still aggravated that somebody had drunk his last soda honestly it's a little childish, me and my father-in-law on the other hand already know who did it but we're never going to tell his ass because it's hilarious his own wife is the one that give it to his aunt.

"You don't need to thank me I love her, honestly I said it before I should be the one thanking you all for accepting me" I say as I hold the door open for her to go back outside to join the rest of our family who's possibly waiting for the tea or who's plotting to hurt Luca who probably drunk the first pitcher all to himself which would only lead to him being hit by everyone and it wouldn't be the first time, "Thank you" she says as she walks out the door right as we hear my little rose yelling at Luca for drinking all the tea well hey I did call it and now he's going to pay.

"Really Luca!" I hear my little rose say right before she slaps Luca in the back of his head which is rather amusing to see because sometimes he can become quite annoying when he decides to act childish for the most oddest things for absolutely no reason but to be fair he really hasn't done it all that much like he used to before we became a family just saying, oh hold up wait a minute I just praised the puppy Luca for acting like he's got some damn sense in that brain of his yeah it'll definitely never happen again once is enough.

"Nice slap" I whisper in her ear before sitting next to her as my father-in-law shakes his head trying not to laugh at what had occurred mere seconds ago my little rose turns her head towards me smiling proud of herself for what she had done to Luca but it's not like it's the first time that she had slapped him in his head, I smile while shaking my head hell I'm extremely proud of my little rose for what she did to him plus he should know not to mess with a pregnant woman that's just a golden rule.

I glance around slowly at everyone to see that they're enjoying this moment that we're all having together without worrying about some bastards trying to ruin our family time which is very pleasant for us individuals who lived for centuries with nothing but hatred built up inside of us and now that we actually get to experience some peace it's truly a good thing, I mean don't get me wrong we're still the badasses that show absolutely no mercy to anybody that tries to mess with us hell perfect example of that is what occurred only a few days ago.

My mother-in-law starts scolds Luca for his behavior meanwhile praising her own daughter for putting him in his place but also for slapping him in his damn head she basically put it as Luca can take it he's a werewolf he'll be all right and his own father agreed with my mother-in-law just the top it off, I shake my head literally I'm truly trying my damn hardest not to laugh at the moment especially for the look of betrayal on Luca's face as he looks around the table at everyone in total disbelief it's priceless.

"Whatever.." Luca mumbles under his breath before finishing off his steak it seems the puppy has learned his place considering it wouldn't be wise to try and argue that'll definitely lead to him getting his ass kicked by both his own father and uncle considering we're all having a peaceful family moment that he was trying to mess up simply being childish, I mean hey I would definitely sit back and watch them hell I'd even cheer them on because I'm the type of asshole when I need to be also let's get real he didn't need to do all that.

As I'm sitting here watching everyone enjoy each other's company just a few questions run through my mind that's been bugging me a bit. Once this is all over and done will anyone else try to pull the same stunt they did? I mean if anyone attempted they would be dealt with swiftly. Will I make a good father and will our child take after me in or will it take after the both of us? I mean from what my little rose has told me our baby has shown having abilities, I mean we'll help it control it's ability no matter what it is. Yes deep down I know I'll be a good father.

I look around at the family to see that everyone's enjoying this little moment we're having at least before we've got to go to the hole and finally pull Lestat out basically to destroy him once and for all but Lucifer had mentioned we should do it in exactly two days when the eclipse will be high in sky which it will make Lestat's demise much better then expected, I mean everybody here accepted it and are definitely ready to be done and over with it already but as for now we're enjoying each other's company even if some are unpleasant at times.

"It'll be over soon, then we can focus all of our attention on the baby that'll be born soon considering now she's 6 months" I say to myself as I place my hand on her stomach which instantly makes her smile and that alone makes me happy but also reassures me that I'll make a damn good father.
