Dipper was back. In Gravity Falls, that is. Grunkle Ford had invited him and his sister back (but mostly himself) to come and do more research on the supernatural phenomenons that just so happened to take place in the small, semi-abandoned, town after they had both graduated from college.

   Dipper planned to become a writer and sell his work on the different creatures, among other things, in Gravity Falls even if they were printed under a 'fantasy' label. Mabel had no idea what she was going to do with her degree, but that wasn't stopping her, and in all honesty, Dipper had no idea how his twin had gotten this far in life with her sweaters and rainbows...

   The bus was pulling in at the stop just outside of town, right in front of the Mystery Shack. The twins' Grunkles, along with Wendy, Soos, Candy, and Gretel, were standing there to greet them as they stepped out of the foul-smelling tour bus.

   Everyone looked different from the last time the two had seen them. Then again, they, too, looked quite a bit different after going through school.

   Dipper looked a lot more grown up, losing the old vest for a lose, blue hoodie and some black jeans. He had also gained a few inches in height, one shorter than his twin, however. Mabel had never lost her love for sweaters, though her obsession with glitter had lessened some.

   She, as of now, was wearing a black t-shirt with her new favorite sweater, with colors of pink, blue, and purple, around her waist almost completely covering her blue jean shorts, accompanied by black and white sneakers that had a touch of purple sparkles to match her sweater (never said she stop using glitter, just that her fondness or it had lessened after eating one too many servings).

   Stan hadn't changed much and neither had Ford, Dipper noticed as he helped get his sister's purple suitcase (she was downright obsessed with the color purple lately), just gotten older; Stan keeping his eye patch. Dipper went back to get Waddles' carrier, of which was also purple. The pig had been through everything with Mable, and somehow never gained much weight.

   "Alright kids, let's go get you guys settled back in." Dipper nodded at Stan's words as he adjusted his black backpack with one hand, the other still holding Waddles' carrier. He grabbed the handle to his carry-on, ready to follow everyone else inside.

   "We're not kids anymore, Grunkle Stan!" Mable said, slightly offended. "We're both twenty-four!"

   "You'll always be kids to me, kid." Stan stated with a smirk, turning to go inside.

   Before that, though, Dipper looked over to where the girls were standing. Wendy hadn't changed that much, just looked to be more mature. Candy and Gretel had both changed. Both had gotten taller, and Gretel looked a lot more.. feminine. As well as that, they had grown their hair out, Candy had lost the glasses (probably them for contacts), and Dipper was sure the two would have boyfriends in no time, if they didn't have any already, that is.

  Dipper had gotten over his crush on Wendy long ago, actually questioning if he had a crush on her in the first place. Looking at her now, he didn't feel the connection he had thought he did before, which just made him question himself more than he did when he ran into his newest crush those several years ago in highschool.

   He sighed, walking with the others, as Mabel started talking to Candy and Gretel. "There's so much I need to tell you!!" She had started. Dipper smiled a little at that, knowing a bit of what she was referring to.

   A fight had broken out at some point during unpacking, and since then, Dipper had found himself in the forest, trying to remember why exactly his sister had been screaming. Failing to remember, he sighed, clutching his notebook close to his chest.

    Dipper looked around at the still-familiar trees of Gravity Falls. A small smile played at his lips as he remembered all the adventures he had gone on and all the things he had seen. His jacket snagged on something, but he brushed it off and kept walking. A soft voice startled him around fifteen minutes later.

   "Dipper..?"
