Cameron's Pov
I walk upstairs in Nique's room and I see that she's sleeping. I shake my head and walk back downstairs and look at Carson. "You staying?"He gets up and we walk outside and get in my car. He says. "You and Nique straight?" I start the car and drive off. "Yeah bro." He says. "So,you mad that her ex came over?" I say. "She still talking to him." Carson says. "You don't know that so nigga stop assuming." I drive home and don't say anything else. I pull up at my house a few minutes later and I get out and walk inside. I go upstairs in my room and lay down across my bed. I get my phone and I scroll through my ig. I put my phone on the charger and go to sleep. I wake up the next morning and I get my phone off the charger and call Nique.

She hangs up the phone and I text Tanisha. I get up and walk downstairs and Carson looks at me. "You talked to Nique?" I nod my head. "Yeah but I'm gonna go and see her later." I walk back upstairs and in my room and do my hygiene stuff. I put on my clothes and I walk downstairs and I get on my phone and check my messages. I walk outside and get in my car and drive to go and meet my jeweler. I pull up at his shop and get out and walk inside. I look at the different type of rings. I find the perfect one and I pick it up. "This the one right here."
He wraps it up in a box and says. "She a lucky girl." I get my money out my pocket. "Yeah but how much?" He says. " $2,765." I count out the money and I hand it to him. I get the ring and I get back in my car and drive to Nique's house. I pull up in her driveway and get the ring out and walk inside. I look at Kaylee. "Where Nique at?" She says. "She upstairs and where you been?" I shake my head. "Business."I walk upstairs and I see Nique in the bed. I walk further in the room and lay on her. She turns over and looks at me. "Nigga tf you want?" I look at her. "Why you mad bruh?" She glares at me. "Nah I told you I was Gucci my nigga." I sit up and pull out the ring and show her. "This why I cancelled our date." She looks at me for a second without saying anything. "Nigga Who's that for?" I hand it to her and say. "You who else it's gonna be for?" She shrugs. "Idk maybe one of yo hoes." I smack my lips. "Come on now nique you know I don't have hoes."
She looks at me and says. "That's what they all say."  I look at her. "I'm different." She says. "They say that too."
Tanisha's Pov
Nique and Cameron walk out the kitchen. Carson says. "You straight best friend?" Nique says. "Yeah." Cameron sits down and Carson says. "Can we talk right quick?" Nique looks at him. "Yeah,but come upstairs with me." They walk upstairs and Cameron looks at Kaylee. "What they got to talk about?" She shrugs. "I don't know." I say. " Mhm." Kaylee says. "So,when you going to ask my girl out?" He says. "Soon." She shakes her head and I say. "You taking too long." He gets up and walks upstairs. I look at Kayla and say. "So,you feeling my cousin?" She says. "Kinda." I shake my head and Carson walks back downstairs. I get on my phone and Nique comes downstairs. I get on my phone and Kaylee says. "What you and Carson was talking about?" Nique says. "Business that's between me and my best friend." Cameron walks in the living room and says. "Y'all ain't got no business." I get off my phone and say. "Y'all need to Mind y'all own business." Nique and Kaylee start talking and Carson looks at me and says. "Why you not saying anything?" I shake my head. "No reason."
