Okay so the Harry Potter series takes place in the 90's Wizarding World, in Europe.

So I generally hate it when people take the series and add stuff from 2015 US. (Unless it's a Modern AU/ American AU)

Things that didn't happen in the 90's:
iPhones / iPods
WINGED EYELINER
11 Year Olds Who Throw Around The F Word (mostly)
Instagram
Snapchat + Any Social Media Really
Modern Bands / Musicians

Things That Didn't Happen In Hogwarts:
Once again, iPhones
Any Electronics

Honestly, do some research if you don't know. Like for names, I literally search up 'popular 90's British Names' (or any ethnicity you want to use) stuff will come up for that.

I'm sorry, but no charm will make muggle electronics work in Hogwarts. They will go haywire. That's just not going to happen. Also your in the fricking WIZARDING World ?? Where you do MAGIC ?? Why the hell would you want to go on your phone when you can practice some bomb-arse spells ??

I'm also 99% sure in the Next Gen universe, most of the kids won't have phones either (unless they are muggleborn, maybe) like half-blood families might have like a television but I'm sure pureblooded families won't even know what a phone is, js.
