I was happy, the smile on my lips never seem to falter. Seeing him from afar makes my insides giddy. To finally get a glimpse of such beauty after months somehow eased a big part of my being.

He's here and it really is him.

"Jimin!" I yelled after. He just smiled, not making any move to come closer nor back away. He was just standing still, a small smile playing on his lips. But his eyes looked dull and dead. He seemed lifeless, so unlikely of him. "Jiminie hyung!" I yelled once again, now with worry laced on my voice.

He is smiling, his teeth were showing. A normal person could've mistaken him for someone having the best of both worlds, but not me. His smile seemed different— it feels different. Rather, it seemed forced. It reached far from his eyes.

"Chimchim!" I yelled, finally taking courage to take a step and run to him. As usual, he made no move and just stood on his place.

But just as I was only a few meters away from him, a large group of boys walked by, blocking my view and my path. I brushed past each of them, receiving nasty remarks as I made my way across. "Hey douche, watch the fuck where you're going!" I heard one of them hissed when I accidentally pushed him.

"Sorry," I apologized but my eyes remained ahead, searching for any signs of orange. I am not losing him again. No, you're not running away again park jimin.

But he was long gone as soon as I finally made it across, no signs nor any traces of him. I roamed my eyes everywhere, hoping to see him running away, just any signs that I really did see him and I wasn't just hallucinating everything. Was it just a dream?

It felt like I was being stabbed through the heart for like a million times, and once again tears came crashing down my cheeks like rain, slowly drowning myself in thoughts— wonder if he was really there, if it was really him who I saw or I simply am just insane and crazy?

But his smile, the look in his eyes. The way he stared back at me with utmost intensity, his emotions. It all felt too real to me.

And so, I ran.

Looking every corners, every faces and any possible places that may prove that I'm not crazy. That it was really him. I didn't stop, my hair wobbling in the air as I looked everywhere, screaming his name at the top of my lungs.

"Jungkook?" Hoseok frowned when I passed by him. I couldn't bring myself to stop nor to even mutter a brief reply, afraid that if I let even just a single second to waste, I wouldn't see him. So I continued running, eyes jumping from place to place, faces to faces.

He must be here somewhere. He has to be.

"Jungkook!" I heard hoseok hyung yelled after me. But I never stopped nor turned to look back at him, too keen and focused on finding him. He's here, I could feel it. It was him, I'm sure of it. "Jungkook stop!"

No.

I won't stop. Never. I wouldn't let Jimin get away again. He has his reasons for leaving but I also have mine for looking. Call it selfish but I want him back, beside me, in my arms. I'd rather be the most selfish person in the world rather than lose the only one the keeps me going. I'd rather die than not witness my only sunshine at all. He is my everything. I need him.

I love him.

"Jungkook!" This time it was Yoongi's voice. "Jungkook, calm the fuck down! Stop!" he yelled from behind.

"No!" I yelled back, turning into a corner with the hopes of spotting a certain orange haired male. But to no luck, there was nothing. "Park Jimin!" I screamed, earning wierd looks and glare from the people passing by, but I didn't care nonetheless.

My feet moved on its own, travelling corners after corners. "Jeon Jungkook!" Yoongi growled from behind. By the way he sounded, he was getting frustrated. But I ignored him and just continued running in circles, eyes roaming every part and every corners.

It was then when I felt a hand on my wrist that I finally stopped. I looked back to see a fuming and tired Yoongi. His grip was firm that made me unable to shrug his hand off, his eyes glaring deeply into my soul. "Would you fucking stop?!" He hissed.

"No, hyung!" I wailed, trying to remove his grip on my wrist. "I saw him. He's here. He even smiled at me hyung! Jimin is here. I have to find him!" I sobbed, hungry tears falling down my cheeks.

His eyes softened but his grip remained firm. "Jungkook," he called.

"No, hyung. You don't understand! I really did see him. He was just there! It was him, I'm sure of it!" I argued. Yoongi pulled me close to his chest. He rubbed my back and whispered comforting words on my ear.

"Shh, it's okay." he said, soothing circular patterns against my back.

"He's here, hyung. Jimin is here." My voice broke as the next following words now came out as a soft whisper.

"Jungkook-ah," I heard my brother's voice called, making me pull away from Yoongi and look up to see Jin, along with the others. Hoseok was panting, probably from running after as well. Namjoon and taehyung was just giving me apologetic and worried looks.

"I'm sorry, hyung." I managed to croak out.

"No," Jin hyung shook his head, a small smile on his lips. "It's like saying sorry for falling in love. Don't be sorry, Jungkook-ah." He said in a hushed tone before engulfing me in a warm hug.

"But I lost all my fliers, hyung." I looked down.

"It's okay, kook." Namjoon hyung reassured. "There's plenty more left at home. We know it's hard for you and we understand."

"Thank you, hyung." I forced a smile.

They comforted me but left me alone after to once again hand out fliers after fliers. I just walked with my head hang low, exploring the place. But as I walked further, I found myself standing in front of the same bench I sat earlier. What shocked me the most was the little girl was still there, her tiara now sitting beside her.

Her feet swang back and forth and looked like she was patiently waiting for someone. I smiled and sat beside her, startling her a bit until a smile once again made its way to her lips. "Oppa!" She joyfully called.

"You're still here, princess." I smiled at her.

"I was waiting for you, oppa!" She clapped her hands. My mouth fell agape and was about to ask her why when she handed me the same handkerchief from earlier. "Take this and use it whenever you're hurt. The handsome oppa gave me this and it really smells so good." She said.

My eyes remained locked on the fabric between her hand, unable to move nor speak. So it wasn't a dream? He was really here?

A small grin formed on my lips, and with shaky hands, I reached to grab the small fabric, a certain euphoria running through my veins as soon as the fabric touched my palms. "Thank you, little miss." I smiled at her, showing her my bunny teeth.

She smiled back at me, kissing me straight on the cheeks before bidding me goodbye and ran straight up to her mother. She waved at me ever so cutely and I waved back at her just as much. Her mother smiled at me and I smiled back at her as well.

Somehow, I feel a little bit at ease.

just a little, but not totally.

I squished the handkerchief in my hand, only to frown when I felt something hard. I raised a brow as I slowly inspected the fabric, unfolding it into a whole.

I jumped when a piece of paper folded into a tiny small boxed shape fell on my lap. Curiousity got to me as I reached for it, slowly unfolding it.

It's a letter,

'Smile, I am just everywhere. Stop trying to find me, and someday, when all is right, I will come to you.' was all it said, but managed to put a huge confusion in my heart yet a genuine smile to appear on my face.
