The teacher walks in and the room instantly falls silent. He's tall and looks quite young to be a teacher to be honest. He takes the register and then allows us to go back to talking. The noise level in the room instantly rises back up to how it was. I continue to talk to sofie and jake for a bit before the bell goes. My first lesson is maths which I have with both sofie and jake, we walk there and sit at a table at the back of the room.

The lessons up to lunch break are really easy, since I had done most of this work already at my old school. I was in the top set of all my classes and so was sofie and jake so I at least had some friends to help me get the grips with the school. After the last bell rings signalling the beginning of lunch, we get up out of our seats and I walk with sofie and jake to the pace where their group hangs out. I follow them to the field at the back of the school, there are a lot of different groups hanging out here. We walk to the very bottom of the field and sit down waiting for everybody else to arrive.  

I know its short but oh well. In the next chapter we'll meet everybody else in the friendship group. Will our mystery guy be there or not???
