I sat on my bed petting Galileo when James walks in "daddy can we go get ice cream?" He asks as he walks over to my bed and he climbs up to pet Galileo. "Sure James let me just ask your mom." I say as I pull out my phone and text Jess 'James wants to go out and get ice is that ok with you?' 'Ya of course just not to much or else he won't calm down.' 'Ok.' And I get up "ok James let's go." I say and I pick him up and put him on my back. I walk to he living room to find cheese. We had gotten back together after acouple of days and me explaining. "Wanna go get ice cream with me and James?" I ask. "Sure." She says and stands up from the couch. And the three of us walk to the ice cream shop that was down the street. We where walking back to me Ross and Tim's house when I saw Jess sitting in the window of her new house. Ya she had moved out of Adam's house and gotten one that was acouple minutes down the street from my place. I just look away and kept walking with James still on my back licking his ice cream happily. Me and James had both gotten chocolate chip cookie dough and cheese had gotten mint chocolate chip. We walk inside and Galileo meets me at the door. I check the time and sigh "James you stay with cheese I have to work." "Ok daddy!" James says and he walks over to cheese and she picks him up and he hugs her. I sigh as I start recording with Shelby and Ross. An hour later I finish and start editing, but I fell asleep at my desk and James ended up staying the night.

I woke up and see that I have 40 messages from Jess panicking about what happened to James. I quickly call her as I rush to James's little room in the house to see cheese waking him up so he can get dressed. "MAX WHERE IS JAMES!" Jess had finally answered and that was the first thing I heard. I herd her gay friends in the backround they were talking loudly and they sounded angry. "I am so sorry Jess! I fell asleep editing last night I didn't mean to not bring James home I promise don't worry cheese fed him dinner and gave him a bath like you would." I say. "Ok so long as he is ok that's all that matters." She says softly

I pick up a sleepy James and I put him in his car seat in the back seat of my car, I drive to Jess's new house and get out picking up James and I walk up to the door and knock, one of her gay friends open the door, he takes James and shuts the door in my face and I hang my head and slowly walk away. I see him give Jess James in her open bedroom window when I see Jack walk to the window and hug he from behind and he kisses the top of her head like I used to. I feel my face go red in anger

I hear Jess "I love you Jack!" She says and I feel my face go even redder, why do I care about this I am no longer her boyfriend I shouldn't care, I mean I do care because we are still friends so if Jack ever hurts her I will beat his àss up. I walk back to my house and I sigh as I lye down on my bed Galileo comes over and jumps into my bed and the two of us sit there snuggling and I won't say if I cried or not because of what I saw at Jess's house.
