Chapter 1
Dim pale light shone into a cave, a small eevee slept there alone. A flareon walked into the cave, her face looking like she was about to explode.
"WHISPER" She growled loudly.
Whisper grumbled.
"Whisper. Now" the flareon glared.
The eevee stretched and got up. Whisper rolled her eyes and left the cave
"You really bug me" Whisper said as she left the cave.
The flareon followed behind as they entered a quite large house.
"You'd better shut up. There's guests over today" The flareon hissed.
"Whatever, Kuku" Whisper rolled her eyes.
Kuku stood up straight as she approached an espeon. She was chatting with a sylveon.
"Ah-! Kuku" the espeon smiled "where's Whisper?".
"Whisper is over there" Kuku glanced at the door.
"Whisper darling, all that time spent in your dreadful cave seems to have made you distant." The espeon started "Why don't you come over here?".
Whisper slowly walked to the espeon.
"Yes, mother?" Whisper gritted her teeth.
"Meet our guest. She's come all the way from the Grace Kingdom" The espeon smiled.
"I hear your very unique" The sylveon looked straight at Whisper, making her feel uncomfortable.
"She's far from special!" Kuku hissed.
"Kuku! Manors" The espeon looked at her.
"It's alright, Mavu" the sylveon looked towards the espeon "Right. I haven't introduced myself. I'm Relic".
Kuku rolled her eyes to the sylveon.
Whisper stood there "nice to meet you...".
"Relic is going to take you on a tour around the Grace Kingdom".
Whisper blinked "why?".
"Because, why not" Mavu replied.
Whisper rolled her eyes. "When?" She asked.
"Tomorrow" Mavu answered "you'll be staying for at least a week".
Kuku was sat on the couch in the living room, sulking.
"Why not her?" Whisper asked indicating to Kuku, whose face was stuffed in the pillow.
"Because, your always in that sad droopy cave. Think of this as an opportunity to see the world" Mavu replied.
Whisper annoyingly went upstairs to her room. There were three rooms upstairs.
Whisper entered the one on the left. She opened her curtains, and went onto the balcony that was revealed behind them.
She sat down watching the sky.
Whisper looked further.
She squinted her eyes trying to reveal the figure moving in the distance.
It was shadowy and dark, managing to lurk in the shadows of the forest afar.
"Breakfast!" Mavu's voice came from downstairs.
Whisper looked closer at the figure.
Cautious, she wanted to jump down and follow it.
"Whisper!" Mavu's voice repeated.
Whisper shook her head, shaking it off as her mind playing tricks on her.
She stepped downstairs, Mavu was seated and talking to Relic some more. Whisper came closer and sat next to her sister.
Kuku ate, looking up with a sour face at Whisper.
Whisper ignored her and at her own food.
Noon came and went.
Whisper sat on the lounge next to Relic.
She was too 'cheerful' for Whisper taste, and always attempted to strike up a conversion.
Whisper was starting to regret her choice of not following that strange figure in the distance, she could have had a real adventure for once.
Whisper got up off the couch.
"I'm going for a walk" She said.
Relic got up after her "let me come with y-".
"No. I'm fine. I'd prefer to go on my own thank you very much" Whisper interrupted.
"Really?" You don't need someone with you?" Relic frantically spoke.
"I don't need a bodyguard. I'll be fine" Whisper replied annoyed.
Relic sat back down with a sigh as Whisper left.
The figure would have been long gone by now, it was a few hours past noon and she saw it around morning.
She left her house and headed downhill towards the village.
It was good to get away from Relic for some time. She was far too overly suspicious.
Few more hours past, and the sun slowly beamed down.
Whisper decided to head back.
She ate her dinner, then went to bed.
Morning came, Whisper packed up the rest of her things in a satchel that she flung around her neck and followed Relic out the door after saying goodbye to Mavu. Kuku was too jealous too come down though.
"The walk to the Grace Kingdom is a two day walk. If we follow the path, we'll be fine" Relic explained.
Whisper stayed quiet. For a few hours, it was awkward.
Relic kept trying to bring up a conversation, but Whisper kept ignoring her, so she gave up.
They ate berries as they went through the forest, and soon came across a small village. They left and soon night came.
They both prepared to sleep.
Relic closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.
But Whisper couldn't sleep.
The image of that figure kept her awake. But she soon fell asleep.
Whisper was jolted awake by a sound. It was a dark out. Whisper, in her curious state, followed the sound. She saw the figure again.
It was a jolteon. He was twitching as he chewed up sticks.
He turned, seeing Whisper. He flinched at the sight of her.
"Oh my-" he started.
"What?" Whisper asked.
"How did you know I was here. You aren't supposed to know" the jolteon twitched. He really looked insane in his state.
"I heard you" Whisper replied.
"Oh-" the jolteon started as he gulped "well hi" he coughed as he started breaking the sticks with his paws.
"Hi?" Whisper questioned him.
"I warn you. Do not trust that sylveon" the jolteon shuttered "please."
Whisper flinched backwards.
The jolteon stood up. "Do you her that?" He asked.
"Hear what?" Whisper was confused.
"Their voices" The jolteon answered "your little sylveon friend is awake. She sounds mad".
Whisper flinched through his weird senses.
"You must come with me" the jolteon budged her "hurry. No time".
He started budging Whisper till she was finally racing behind him.
Whisper, now hearing the sounds of others.
It scared her how close they sounded.
"The sylevon. She's behind us" The jolteon turned behind.
"Why?" Whisper asked "what's going on".
"Child. I cannot reveal that to you" The jolteon answered in slight a scary tone "you'll find out. When we get there".
