Author's POV

Everything was quiet.

Exo sat in their living room while the tv broadcasted the high speed chase. And once they saw the car drive into the water.

Every one of them knew it was no going back.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun were gone.

"This is all my fault!"

Kris yelled standing up and breaking things around the dorm. He couldn't grasp the fact that he felt responsible. He would have to live with this for the rest of his life.

Many tears were shed by not only them. But their significant others as well.

Suzy and Jieun were at the convenience store together. When they saw what happened on the news.

Jieun was on her way to get Suzy. When she spotted her watching tv within the store. And her eyes broadened once she realized what it displayed.

The last few moments of the chase were intense and the end result left them both in turmoil.

Hearts broken and love lost.

No one could believe the two were indeed gone.

2 Years Later

"Suzy-ah have a great show today. I hear the people are starting to love you" Jieun complimented as she left the house. On her way to work.

Fungjoos Technology Inc. was a huge computer company that Jieun surprisingly landed herself a job at.

It payed well enough for her to afford her own two story home. But her and Suzy had grown so close that the idea now would be unimaginable.

The busy girl arrived at work thirty minutes early. And greeted everyone she walked by.

The people loved her high spirits and admired her undying ambition. That's why she is now promoted to the manger of the TCE staff. Or in other words. The whole third and fourth floor.

"Jieun we have three files that need to be transported" said her coworker Jisoo. She nodded her head. Not even sparing a look from her work. When the room fell silent again.

She then placed her head in her hands. Feeling the effects of stress rise to new levels.

"Oh and Madame Jieun, you have a visitor"

Her coworker said coming back in.

"Tell Suzy that she needs to leave. This is her third time this week"

Jieun replied. Getting back to work.

"It's not Suzy ma'am"

He said. Which made crinkles appear in the twenty three year olds forehead.

"Jinja? Send them in"

She said.
Expecting the person to walk in soon. But when ten minutes passed and no one arrived. Jieun found herself distracted by the task at hand.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Come in"

She said typing an email. The person walked in quietly and sat down in front of her.

"What can I help you with?"

Jieun asked continuing to type away.

The anonymous person didn't respond. And instead talked about something entirely different.

"This picture on your desk looks neat"

"Mhm" Jieun replied informally.

"It looks to be taken in a convenience store. You and this man seem to be really happy together. I can't even wrap my head around how handsome he is"

He spoke.

Jieun's heart stopped as her busy fingers halted at the sound of the voice.

It couldn't be.

Jieun looked up and met eyes with none other than the guy she thought was dead.

"Chanyeol?"

She called.

"In the flesh"

He continued taking off his face mask. And giving Jieun one of the biggest smiles yet.

She jumped up from her chair and raced too him. Before attacking him with a hug he couldn't turn down.

"Oh my gosh I missed you so much!" Jieun cried against his chest.

"Not nearly as much as I missed you"

He responded.

"But how? How are still-"

"Alive?" He finished. And she nodded.

"We'll have enough time to talk about that later. Because trust me, it's a long story"

He said. Earning himself a heart warming giggle.

Across town at the news center. Suzy found herself in front of the cameras again to report the weather and how high the winds will be for the days to come.

Being a news reporter or a weather girl if you will. Didn't come easy for Suzy. Sure she had good looks but it took more than just a pretty face to land that job.

And with all the proper school and training. She's finally found her career.

"This is your weather report for evening everyone. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day" Suzy said smiling widely at the unknown audience.

"Annnnnd cut!"

Yelled the video director.

"Everyone take five"

He said. And quickly, everyone scattered about the facility. While Suzy walked back into her dressing room to dress up for the next segment.

She shut the door and was about to start getting undressed when she heard footsteps approach behind her.

Who is in here with me?

Suzy thought.

The footsteps got close to Suzy. And without a second thought she turned around and punched whoever it was in the face.

Knocking the shades off of the perpetrator. Soon revealing who the peeping Tom was.

"Ahhh"

"Baekhyun?!"

She shrieked.

"Yeah...it's me"

He groaned rubbing his jaw. Suzy stood in complete and utter shock not knowing what to say. After all, she did think he was dead.

"Did you take a defense class or something? Jeez" Baekhyun complained.

"You..you came back"

She said softly. As tears started to fill the brim of her widening eyes.

Baekhyun stood up straight and smiled through the pain.

"I told you I would"

He stated firmly. Before pulling the flowers out from behind his back and handing them to Suzy.

"And theses are for you miss weather reporter"

He ushered.

Suzy took them from him delicately. Before tossing them to the side and grabbed his face. Bringing him into a kiss that they both had longed for.

Baekhyun brought his hands around her waist. Pulling the two closer together.

During the make out session. A camera man from the team knocked on the door.

"Suzy your on in three"

He said. Making her realize where she was.

They reluctantly pulled away from each other. Gazing into one another's eyes. When Baekhyun reached to scratch the nape of his neck.

"I guess I should leave you too it huh?"

He said and Suzy shook her head. Before grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. Making him gasp out of surprise.

"Your heard the man. We have three minutes"

"So that's how you guys survived?"

Jieun asked.

The group all sat comfortably in the girls house. Catching up on the time that they've been away from each other.

"Ne. We were lucky to swim under the bridge and wait the police out" Baekhyun said.

"So then why did you stay away for so long if you survived?" Suzy asked.

"We didn't want to risk you guys losing everything. So we temporarily moved to Busan. And when we were sure they thought we were dead. Here we are, back in Seoul" Chanyeol said hugging Jieun closer to his side.

Everyone was in high spirits. When Suzy's phone blinked with a message.

She read through it and her face fell.

"What is it?" Chanyeol asked.

"The banks letting me know that my account bounced again. I don't know what I'm going to do"

Suzy said. Which made Baekhyun and Chanyeol look at eachother:

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking" Baekhyun asked.

"Oh yeah. Girls grab your things. Let's go pay the bank a visit"
