Jieun's POV

"Be careful Suz" I say to my crazy best friend. As I hid behind her, approaching the door. Taking slow steps and mentally praying that this wasn't Jihyun.

I honestly don't know what Suzy saw in that guy besides his looks. He is just some sex craving rabbit. Who stalks the store like some weirdo.

Needless to say, I don't like him

We were at the door when whoever it was knocked again. And we jumped together.

"Screw it. I'm opening it"

"No wait!"

I yell. But Suzy grabbed the handle before I could stop her. And what happened next caught me off guard.

Suzy swung the pan and ended up hitting-

"Baekhyun?"

"Ahhhh! What the heck!" He says holding his head. And we just stared at him and Chanyeol suspiciously.

"What are you doing here?" Suzy asked.

"What do you mean what are we doing here. We came to talk about the robbery. Why else would we be here" Baekhyun said grunting in pain. His hand not leaving his head.

"Not that pickle brain. I mean why are you at our apartment. How do you know where we live?" She said rephrasing.

"We saw you guys walking home. So we followed" Chanyeol said like he was talking about the weather.

What the?

"That's not creepy at all" Suzy said turning to me.

"Are you going to invite us in. Or are we going to stand and talk in the hallway?" Baekhyun asked.

"Well that's depends, are you going to be an annoying alarm clock the whole time we come up with a plan" Suzy said and he gasped.

"You almost knocked my face to the back of my head. And I'm being annoying?" Baekhyun asked.

"I think you just answered your own question there Bacon"

"Yah!"

"Stop fighting! It's getting late guys. Can we do this tomorrow?" I asked looking between the both of them.

"Ne. When and where?" Chanyeol asked. And as I was thinking of a place. I looked back at him and grew smitten under his everlasting gaze.

"Um. There's a cafe about two blocks from here. Let's meet there at.... 12:30?" I said. And Chanyeol smiled.

"Sounds like a plan. Baekhyun let's go......Baekhyun" he says.

I looked at the unresponsive male to see that him and Suzy were having a full blown stare off.

Daring the other to blink first.

"Suzy" I said but she didn't budge either.

Chanyeol and I exchanged glances. Before he nodded his head and poked Baekhyun in his stomach. Forcing a little girls laugh to escape from his lips. And Suzy cheered.

"Ha! Loser! I won, now get lost" she says celebrating.

"Cheater! I didn't even blink you loch nest monster"he says and Suzy raises the pan in the air. But I pull her into the apartment before she had the glory of hitting him again.

Chanyeol was yanking a crouched Baekhyun up from the floor. Before sighing.

"See you tomorrow" he says and I smile.

"See you tomorrow"

He dragged Baekhyun away. Before I closed the door. And turned my head to a rambling Suzy.

"Suzy what the hell was that?"

"He makes me sick! Did you hear what he called me? I felt bad about hitting him at first. But now, I feel like it should've been harder. So I could knock some sense into that acorn he calls a brain" she says swinging the pan like a promising baseball player.

And I shook my head.

"Suzy let's just get ready for bed. Come on"

I say leading Suzy to her room and then went into my own. Before getting settled and nestled in my blankets.

I then found myself thinking of Chanyeol.

Weird I know.

But there's something about him that makes me want to talk more. Maybe I should do that tomorrow.....

"Aishh! Jieun you think too much!"

I say before forcing my smiling eyes shut. And drifting off to sleep.

"Where are you? It's about to be 12:30" I scorn into my phone. Sitting at a table in the cafe.

I left without Suzy because she wouldn't get her lazy bum out of bed.

"I'm just getting out of the shower. Calm your clams" she said and I sigh.

"Just hurry up Suzy" I say before hanging up. And sipping my cappuccino nervously.

I've been sitting here for at least 15 minutes. The staff is gonna think that I'm being stood up or something. And that's embarrassing.

"Jieun?"

I look up and saw someone I honestly wasn't expecting to see.

"Joohyuk?"

My EX boyfriend. Who thinks it's cool to exit and reenter my life whenever he feels like it. And the sad part about it is, I allow him to do so.

"What are you doing here alone? Your bodyguard decided to ditch you?" Joohyuk said talking about Suzy. And I didn't say anything. Hoping he would catch on.

But unfortunately, that's not what happened.

"Oh not talking today are we?" He asked and I stayed silent. Shooting a deadly glare his way.

"Huh.....well you look nice today. Impressing anyone?" He asked and my heart sank a little. As I thought he was onto me.

I may or may not have payed a little more attention to my makeup today.
But for good reason, very good reason.

"Ani" I say harshly. And Joohyuk smirks before walking next to me, sitting down. And all I did was sigh.

"Giving me the cold shoulder Jieun? You and I both know that won't last. So why don't you just greet me like you always do. With a hug and a kiss" he says caressing my face.

And if I wasn't so determined to stay away from him. I might have fallen for it. But today's a new day.

"Don't touch me" I say smacking his hand away. And he still kept that devious smile on his face.

"Jieun"

My eyes widened as I recognised the voice right away.

I was so wrapped up in dealing with Joohyuk that I forgot who I was really sitting down with today.

"Chanyeol hi" I say standing up. Seeing that he was by himself.

"Where's Baekhyun?" I asked and he rolled his eyes.

"He's running late. So he's going to meet us here" he says and I nod my head awkwardly.

"You look nice" Chanyeol said. And my heart stopped beating.

"Oh....uh....tt-thank you" I say blushing. And he smiled at me. Woah..... What a face.......

Joohyuk cleared his throat. Before standing up and looking Chanyeol up and down with a scowl.

"Who's this?" He asked rudley.

"This is my......business partner C-"

"Chanyeol. Park Chanyeol"

Chanyeol said before sticking his hand out for Joohyuk to shake. But all Joohyuk did was stare at it. Then back to his face.

Chanyeol then pulled his hand back and curled it into his pocket.

"Business partner? What kind of business?" He asked and Chanyeol and I exchanged glances.

And just as I was taking a breath to explain my lie further. Chanyeol beat me too it.

"For banking. Jieun seem like an interested client. So I wanted to help her" Chanyeol says looking at me longingly. And I could feel myself turning pink.

Why is this happening to me?

Joohyuk stared at Chanyeol, anger obviously fuming within him.

But....

Being the asshole he is. What he did next didn't surprise me.

"Okay.......See you later baby" Joohyuk said putting emphasis on the word 'baby'. Before kissing my cheek in vain. As my eyes didn't leave the table below me.

And with that he left.

Things were quiet and uneasy until Chanyeol broke the ice.

"I guess he thought you looked nice today too" he said in a comical manner. And I giggled, meeting his eyes once again.

Joohyuks attempt to make Chanyeol jealous was an ultimate
