Author's POV

Chanyeol looked around frantically for things he would need.
He's never heard Baekhyun sound so scared before. And that's why he's just as scared right now.

He throws things into a duffle bag. Random things and also his hidden money.
He then charges out of his room while his mind was in a huge blur.

He couldn't even think straight.

Who would've thought that his gut feeling was so accurate.

Chanyeol continued to walk through the dark dorm and he noticed car lights flashing into the house. As if someone had pulled into the driveway.

He didn't waste time as he was about to open the door and leave.

When something fell out of his bag.

He looked down and saw that it was a picture of him and Jieun smiling together at the convenience store in the potato chip aisle.

"How could I forget" Chanyeol mumbled.

He was about to just leave and not say anything to Jieun.

No that wasn't right.

He picked the picture up and continued out of the house. As his long legs carried him through the rain and to Baekhyun's car.

"What's going on Baekhyun?" He asked once he sat in.

"I don't know how. But the cops knows it's us. And they came looking for me at the girls apartment" Baekhyun said still shook from the event.

"Well how'd you get away?"

"Suzy and I climbed out the window and down the fire escape"

"Oh no this is worse than I thought" Chanyeol groaned rubbing his face.

"I dropped Suzy off at the convince store...."

Baekhyun trailed on.
Chanyeol could look at him and tell how that whole ordeal went.

"Where's Jieun. I'll take you too her"

Baekhyun added as if he guessed Chanyeol's next thoughts.

"The new house"

Was all he mumbled. Before they drove there in less than ten minutes. And when they arrived, Chanyeol's legs felt heavy.

He couldn't do this.

"Come on. We can't stay long"

Baekhyun reminded sadly. And Chanyeol just silently nodded his head. Before he got out of the car. And approached the house in the cold rain.

But just before he could reach the door. The real estate agent opened it and walked out after sharing a few laughs with Jieun.

And once they parted. That's when she spotted him on the steps.

"Hey Chanyeol? What are you doing here?" Jieun asked.

He walked inside and looked down at his feet while she closed the door back.

"Good news. We can all move in tomorrow!"

She squealed. And Chanyeol tried his best to force his happiness.

"That's great jagi congratulations!" He cheered. But Jieun knew his cheerfulness wasn't genuine.

"What's wrong Chanyeol?"

"Uh....Jieun I have to tell you something" he started.

"Omo is it bad?"

"Very....the...cops know about the heist" he said and her eyes widened.

This is exactly what she was afraid of.

"W-WW-what?"

"They're coming after Baekhyun and I. You guys are safe." He said before pausing again.

Jieun stared at him speechless herself. Knowing exactly where this conversation was going.

Chanyeol turned away and ran his fingers through his wet hair roughly. Before slightly banging his fist against the wall.

"Jieun I'm sorry" he said as water started to swim in his eyes.

"No Chanyeol. Don't tell me this. Please don't tell me this" Jieun said crying herself. It's all starting to seem real now.

The guy she was starting to make plans with had to leave.

"I wish I never got you into this. God...Jieun I'm so sorry" Chanyeol said as tears streamed down his flushed cheeks.

"It's okay Chanyeol, it's not your fault "

She said walking up to him and hugging him.

They stood glued to each other for what felt like only a few seconds. When Chanyeol knew he couldn't stay long and risk the cops finding out about Jieun too.

"I have to go"

He said breaking the hug. And at the sound of those words. Jieun broke.

"Aniya!......this isn't fair!! People that I love always leave me!! You can't do this!" She yelled.

Chanyeol cupped her face and brought her distraught eyes to his.

"I'm not leaving for good. I'll be back .....you have my word. I love you more than anything in the world do you hear me?"

He stated. And Jieun nodded slightly.

Chanyeol leaned in to kiss her one last time. Before he slowly pulled away. And kissed her cheek. He then started walking away, knowing that talking would only make it harder.

"Goodbye Chanyeol"

He heard Jieun say. Which made him stop in his tracks.

"This isn't goodbye Jieun. This is a I'll see you later" he said turning back to give her a weak smile.

Right before he proceeded out of the house. Forcing himself to ignore his loves cries. And walked to the car.

Hearing rain puddles splash under his feet. Chanyeol hoped that this wouldn't be their last time together.

Back at the Exo house. All of the members were now up and sitting around the phone in the living room. As Chanyeol's and Baekhyun's voice spoke through.

"Kris was right......it was us who did the heist. I would say that we're sorry but I would be lying. The whole experience was to get you guys to realize our worth in the group....we're not just slackers who can't be trusted. But sadly you guys never saw different" Chanyeol started.

"We will not be back due to the fact that the cops now know about us. I hope there are no hard feelings against Chanyeol and I. We just wanted you guys to accept us.............anyway. This is bye for now. We love you guys"

Baekhyun finished before the voicemail ended.

The living room was silent. With each Exo member lost for words. Even Kris.

He surprisingly never knew they felt that way. And now feels responsible for the whole thing.

The sun was coming up as Baekhyun continued to drive farther and farther away from his loved ones.
When he glanced at his gas tank and saw that he was almost out of juice.

He then pulled over at a nearby gas station and went to get gas. While Chanyeol was asleep in the passengers seat.

Baekhyun then walked into the store to pay.

"That'll be 20000 won please"

The lady asked.
And just as Baekhyun pulled out his money. His eyes glanced behind the woman's head and saw that his face along with Chanyeol's, was being broadcasted on tv.

With it saying that if someone called to say they saw them. They would win an award.

Baekhyun's heart dropped as he looked around. And spotted an old man on the phone. Giving him a worried look.

It's too late.

Baekhyun ran out of the store and up to his car. Quickly before cranking the gas and pulling off.

His speed was like no other as he tried to get away. But unfortunately it did no good. Because the cops appeared out of nowhere.

Along with a helicopter flying over their heads.

Chanyeol looked around in worry. While Baekhyun continued to floor it.

He then noticed a sign that read dead end

And ahead, they see a bridge that leads to an ocean.
Chanyeol looked ahead in horror as Baekhyun approached the edge. And suddenly stopped the car.

"THIS IS THE POLICE! COME OUT AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP OR WE WILL SHOOT!!!"

They yelled.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun looked at eachother.

A moment of silence passed.

Before everyone heard a screech of tires against the pavement. Speed into the open water and soon start to sink to the bottom of the ocean.
