"Weapons?" Where the hell are we gonna find those?" Nick said and I point to his lighter.

"That's a weapon and I bet we can find some other weapons around the school, like some baseball bats or other sports equipment." I said and he gives me a hard look.

"Tell me then, how are we going to find it. Are we just going to everyone's room and see if they have any sporting goods just laying around in their rooms."

"Well I know some people even sneak some knives in this school and letter openers which most people in this school have because it's recommended for some reason."

"And?" He looks at me still not in on it.

"How stupid can your dumbass be. We looking for weapons to kill Mr. Connor so we can get the hell out of this dumbass place so get with the program and let's start looking." Alice stands up and everyone stands up too.

We look outside of the bathroom and see that is all clear on both ends then head out and walking into a nearby room. We get in and lucky us, we find a baseball bat laying up against the closet in the room and a letter opener sitting on the desk on top of a letter. I pick up the letter seeing that it's the one we wrote to one of the students who is possibly running or hiding from our crazed teacher. Nick picks up the bat saying that he'll protect us "girls" from Mr. Connor which we all roll our eyes, even Adam does.

Once we get what we need from the room, we head back out and head into a different room seeing if there's anything we can find in there besides another letter opener, but no luck. We keep searching and get lucky to find another bat, but we mostly stock up on letter openers.

"I'm surprised we haven't seen any students or Mr. Connor at all since we split up." I nod agreeing with Mary.

"I know, but I'm not to sure if he's still following his list or not. Plus it might be hard to find people because it's so dark, plus it already late at night." The rain outside is still going on and lighting strikes nearby causing us to jump.

"Let's keep moving, please." Alice said and we did. We finally saw a room number that I recognized and I got my key out and unlocked it. We quickly headed inside, candles still burning, but barely staying alive. "I should have a knife that my father packed in a secret spot in my purse in case of an emergency." We all look at Alice. "What?! He wanted me to be prepared okay."

She quickly looks through it and finds it before too long. I try to look for something that could help, but all I find is pepper spray. I put it in my pocket and we all sit down for a while to rest.

"We need to come up with a plan with the weapons we got now. So does someone have anything?" I look around the room.

"Well first we need to find him right?" Adam whose been fairly quiet until now speaks. I nod and think of where we could possibly find him in all this chaos that he created.

"Why don't we just wait for him to come for us?" Nick says and Alice shakes her head. 

"If we wait around to find him then more students could died because of it." 

"Then let's go find more people to join us then. More people will help us take him down, ha, it's just like a video game boss." Adam says trying to make a joke. It's doesn't really work, but we smile at him for trying. We head out of my room and back into the dark hallways trying to look around for any students in there rooms or somewhere in the hallways, but no luck.

It's quiet as we walk, trying to listen for the slightest sound against the storm outside making it harder to hear. Which is a good and a bad thing for us, but then something I didn't want to hear again happens it's closer this time, like right around the corner close. We quickly run around it and looked to see that it's only two girls. One on the floor and the other trying to pull her up.

"What's happening here?" They look at me glad to see another person.

"I hurt my ankle because I tripped and think it's sprained. I didn't mean to scream, but it just hurt really bad." I try to check it and see that it is sprained.

"Come on you guys should come with us. We're trying to find us many students as we can to get rid of Mr. Connor. Here, take one of these just in case." I hand them a letter opener.

"What's this for?" The girl helping her friend up said.

"It's one of the few weapons we have to defend ourselves." She hesitates before actually taking it. Mary gets on the other side of the girl and helps support her. She smiles at her and Mary smiles back then we continue to walk. Hoping that we'll get through this hell we're now living.
