Hello everyone and welcome to another chapter of my book! Thank you all so much for reading my book so far x,). (Btw, Noragami is better than Naruto in my opinion). Anyways, back to the book!

As Keith knocked on the door to Shiro's house, Lance was frantically searching around them, his eyes wide in fear. He's scared. To be out here, where his dad was.

The door to the house opened, and Shiro smiled, "Hey Lance, hey Keith-" Shiro paused as he noticed Lance looked scared half to death. "Um, you guys want to come in? I have a feeling something happened or is happening"

"We'd love too" Keith sighed, dragging lance in gently by his hand. Lance shuddered, following him quickly. Shiro shut the door and locked it, "So, what happened?" He asked as Keith and lance sat on the couch in front of him.

"Lance's dad attacked us. Well, tried to" Keith said, keeping his hand on Lance's. Lance was staring at the ground, his mind flashing back and fourth between Keith holding his hand, and his dad.

After a few moments of Keith and Shiro talking, Shiro noticed lance having an absent mind. "Lance, why don't you rest. You seem scared, and exhausted" he asked, pointing to his bedroom, "you can sleep in my bed if you want"

Lance looked up, startled, "I'm not going in there alone!" He paused as he felt Keith squeeze his hand, and he looked at Keith as he began speaking.

"Rest here, then. Shiro and I will go to the kitchen for a moment, and check on you later" He shrugged, and Lance looked down. "We will still be able to see you from in there" Keith added.

Lance sighed, and reluctantly laid down, facing the other way. Keith sighed in relief and stood up, Shiro following him as they entered the kitchen.

"Lance has been pretty shaken ever sense he left his home that one night" Keith whispered to Shiro after a few moments of silence.

"Yeah, he seems more jittery. I wish there was something we could do" Shiro said, pouring himself a cup of Coffee, and handing a cup to Keith as well.

"I'm having him stay at my place for a while. But with his dad knowing where I live, we might need to hide out here for a while" Keith sighed, glancing out the kitchen at Lance, who was fast asleep now.

"You guys are welcome to stay here" he paused for a moment, "Keith, I think you should call the police" Shiro's voice seemed to harden. "Lance's father has gone too far, and it needs to stop"

"I know. I've thought about it, but lance is terrified of coming in contact with him. Imagine how he'll be if we go to court" Keith sighed.

Shiro looked and lance and nodded, "Alright. You can hang here. I'll take care of you two until we can figure something out.."

Lance woke up during the night to Keith bending down beside him. Keith smiled, "Hey lance.. how are you holding up..?" He asked.

Lance shuddered, from both cold, and fear, "I can't get my dad out of my head. Also it's cold as hell in here" he made the last part sound like his normal self, but sounding overdramatic. (Which is sorta normal).

Keith sighed and got on the couch, glad it was a pretty wide couch, and laid down, hugging lance and resting his head above lance's. they were both laying down at the time. "Better?" He asked, blushing madly, but hiding it well.

Lance felt a blush paste on his face, and he hugged Keith back, happily. "Yeah. Thanks." He yawned, and fell back asleep quickly, forgetting about his dad. Keith fell asleep a few moments afterward, not knowing that Shiro was nearby.

Shiro walked into the room and laid a blanket on both of them, smiling and whispering to himself, "I ship it" and left the room.
