y/n's POV:

Anna's about three months pregnant and she and Virgil have been going to the doctor regularly and the doctor says that the baby is doing good, we still don't know the gender but Anna said that she doesn't care what the gender is as long as the baby is healthy, and the rest of us agreed.

Anna and Virgil were at another doctor's appointment. Logan and Gracelyn were upstairs in his room reading together, Hailey and Roman were having a Disney movie marathon. Patton and Jenna were in his room probably watching a cartoon. And I was in the living room with Thomas watching Steven Universe. I had my head in his lap and he was running his fingers through my hair.

I was paying attention to the show when all of a sudden Thomas breaks the relaxing silence.

"I love you y/n" Thomas says leaning down to kiss me.

I meet him halfway and kiss back. When we break the kiss I say "I love you too Thomas"

A few minutes go by of more silence and then Thomas looks down at me and asks "so how was your day?" He says grinning that damn smile that got me every time.

I laugh and smile back. I couldn't help it, that smile was my weakness.

"Thomas, you were with me all day" I said.

"I know but still" Thomas says playing with my hair.

"Fine, I guess" I said.

Thomas laughs and kisses my forehead.

We go back to watching the show and Anna and Virgil walk in talking.

I sit up and walk to Anna and Thomas follows yelling up the stairs "they're back!"

A few seconds later Logan, Gracelyn, Patton, Jenna, Roman and Hailey come downstairs.

"How was it Anna?" Jenna says.

"It was good, doctor said the baby was healthy. But I just want it to be born already because it's making me feel like hell" Anna says rubbing her stomach.

"Well come on, you should get some rest." Virgil says and leads her upstairs.

From what I know about Virgil, from what Thomas has told me Virgil wasn't ever really like this but I knew he was stepping it up for Anna and their  baby.

Thomas and I went back to the couch and Hailey and Roman followed us.

Jenna and Patton went in the kitchen to make dinner.

After a few minutes the parent sides called us for dinner.

I sit down by Thomas and he grabs my hand under the table and squeezes it. I squeeze back as Jenna and Patton put down plates in front of us.

"Roman, will you go tell Anna and Virgil that dinners ready?" Patton says to Roman.

Roman nods "Sure, Pat"

Roman heads upstairs and a few minutes later Roman comes downstairs and Virgil helps Anna walk downstairs.

"I'm perfectly capable of walking downstairs, Virgil" Anna says.

"I know, I just wanna be helpful to you" Virgil says.

"Virgil, you've been so helpful, you've gotten baby supplies and driven me to  doctors appointments, not to mention that your the father of this baby. You've done more than enough for me, let me show you I'm still capable of doing things on my own." Anna says stubbornly.

"I know, Anna. I just wanna help you as best I can, this whole thing is really new to me. " Virgil says.

"Virgil, I'm fine. And this thing is still new to me too, but we're still figuring it out together." Anna says.

Virgil smiles and kisses Anna's hands.

"Alright, love birds come on and eat." Jenna says.

They laugh and smile at each other walking to the table. They both sit down and Jenna and Patton finish making plates.

After all the plates are made we all eat dinner talking and laughing with each other.

I thought my life was perfect, I had my sides and a perfect boyfriend, and as far as I know everyone else was happy too.

But little did I know not everyone was as cheerful as I felt.
