45 subs! WHAT THE FUUUUUCK!

Mark's POV
I hid in the shadows, letting me eyes adjust to night vision as the villains snuck around my back yard. I could see them sneaking around my house, trashing the place. I let out a low growl. Big mistake.

A group of villains heard it and started walking in my direction. I held my breath as four men and a women came closer to my hiding place. Two of the men were well built while the others were just a regular build. The women had a beach body build (in other words, she was hot!... I'm straight). I remember learning about her in one of my classes. She called herself RingLady and she could hypnotize people and create illusions.

They all seemed to be grouped together so I decided to make a bold move. Focusing on the area they were in, I created an invisible force to keep them in. But RingLady saw this and shot a swirling, sparkling purple ball at me. It hit me in the face, causing me to stumbled backwards and blink several times as the sparks blurred my vision.

I looked at the group and saw them running at me. An allusion. Don't fall for it! I kept hold on the force and closed me eyes and screams and shouts filled my ears. I blocked it all out. The RingLadies spell affecting my senses. My vision flashed and I was taken to a different place.

"Alright class. Today we are going to see what powers you have," the teacher said from the front of the class as everyone cheered.

My vision flickered back and I saw I was surrounded by villains. The field faded as my focus was lost.

"Alright I want you, and you," the teacher said pointing to two boys in the class. One I remembered was called Scott, he could teleport. The other's name had slipped my mind but he had spiky brown hair and bright blue eyes. He wore a dark hoodie.

I gasped as my vision changed again and I saw I was pinned against a wall by a large, extremely strong villain. But everything soon faded again and I was back in the class.

"Take that hoodie off. Its not allowed in school," the teacher growled at the kid. He huffed and took it off. I noticed a few cuts up his arms but no one else seemed to.

I choked as I realized I was being strangled. I kicked the guy off me and gasped for air, right as my vision flickered again.

Scott was desperately teleporting and trying to get to the kid but was never able to touch him. They were both exhausted but the kid hadn't used a single power yet, only needing to dodge away from Scott. He looked at the timer and saw there was five seconds left. But Scott took this as an opportunity and managed to grab the kids arm. There was a flash of blinding green light.

The light seemed to mix in with reality and I saw that Jack was pulling me away from the crowd of villains. A group of heroes there fighting them. I saw Felix in the crowd before my vision changed again.

When the light faded the two boys were on the floor. Scott was unconscious while the other kid seemed to be regaining his. When he saw what had happened he screamed and tried to back away. He ended up vanishing and appearing on the other side of the ring. Everyone gasped and started whispering about what they had just seen. The kid noticed this and started hyperventilating. The teacher climbed onto the ring and checked if Scott was okay, he was. The nurse carried him away and the teacher looked at the kid.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" the teacher shouted at the kid, who flinched and looked up at the man towering over him.

"I-i... He... He t-touched m-me... It w-wasn't m-my fault," the kid stuttered as tears streamed down his pale face.

"I didn't ask what happened I asked what you did!" The teacher growled again. The kid looked down.

"I stole his powers," he whispered  I could only hear him because of my enhances hearing, before he vanished in a flash of light.

I gasped as I struggled to breath. I was on my hands and knees and my head was spinning. I felt sick. I felt dizzy. I felt like I was about to pass out. I could feel someone next to me but I didn't know who.

I remembered. It wasn't an allusion it was a memory. It was the first day I had acknowledged that kid. But I remember hearing him say more. I remember his mouth didn't move when he said it. Could I read minds?

I wasn't able to find out because my vision was blinded with a bright green light before it blurred then everything went black. I could hear shouts and voices all around me but they sounded far away. They got further and further until I was left in silence. Left in the dark... Alone.
