Rick's P.O.V

I turned my head around, hoping to catch the person staring at me. I know when someone's looking, because I get this tingly feeling. I'm never wrong about that. But all I see is Tina, my crush since I first met her. But I'm too afraid to tell her my feelings. A girl that cute and smart would never fall for a stupid guy like me. The only thing I've talked her into is going with me to the Graduation dance. I hope we graduate and get close after that.

"Hello? Mr. Wilkins? Rick Wilkins! Pay attention!" My English Teacher, Ms. Krystal Jeffrey shouted. I snapped out of my daydream and let out a long, heavy sigh. Tina and I were not in the same class for English, only for other subjects. I waited for the lesson to end, then rushed to the cafeteria for our break. I sat down at the small table near the corner, waiting for Tina to arrive from her Math lesson with Mrs. Samantha Tiller. Charlie came over, and sat down across from me. Soon after, her boyfriend, Connor arrived, and they hugged. I impatiently started eating, my stomach rumbling due to no breakfast in the morning. I felt a tap on my shoulder and moved over, letting the gorgeous Tina take a spot.

I looked at her, with her cute black crop top and her tight jeans. Her hair was flowing loose behind her, just below her strap belt. "Hey Rick! Whats up?" She asked, interrupting my thoughts. I hoped she didn't realize I was gaping at her beauty. She returned the smirk from this morning, saying "You like my outfit? I don't know what you're looking at!" My cheeks went hot and I just told her to eat her lunch before talking.

I really hope that I will be able to share my feelings with her!
