^•^•°•°•^•^Start of Chapter 12^•^•°•°•^•^

I wake up the next morning in the middle of the kitchen floor. I curse as I sit up, having a hard time due to my injuries. I wince as I move my shoulder, 'this is really gonna hurt...' I barely brace myself as I hit my shoulder back into place.

I let out a gasp of pain and pull myself off the floor. "What...what time is it?" I question out loud to myself when I see its actually late afternoon. I move as quickly as I can to my room. Examining my face, I grimace. My forehead has a huge bruise, my eye is swollen and my face is lined with deep and light cuts.

I have no idea how I'll cover this up. I sigh and throw on another hoodie in my room, "I'll have to get this fixed..." I mutter, examining holes and tears. I hear a banging on the front door, 'who's that? Mark wouldn't be home yet so...' I pull up my hoodie.

"Who is it?" I call. "Its me Gaara, Sasuke, Neji, and Kiba!" I hear Naruto's voice outside my door and my eyes widen before I slam the door open. "What the heck are you doing here?!" I shout, their faces show surprise. "Get in here!" I hiss and pull them in as I glance around us, thankfully the neighbors aren't around.

"Well that's one way to greet someone who's checking on you." Neji makes a sarcastic remark. "Why would you need to check on me?" I place my hands on my hips. "Because you looked scared half to death before we left." Gaara responds.

"Well as you can see, I'm fine and you need to leave." I start to push them towards the door. "Why didn't you come to school then?" Naruto questions and I roll my eyes, thinking of a quick excuse. "Didn't feel like it," I answer without a second thought. "But you're always at school! Even when you're sick!" I let out a frustrated sigh and stop pushing them.

"Will you guys just get out my house?!" I yell in irritation. "Why's it so dark?" Kiba asks, ignoring me. "Found a light switch!" I twirl around faster than a dog around a squirrel. 'How did Naruto get over there??' I stare at where the blonde knucklehead was a moment ago then to the light switch across the room.

"I hate physics." I groan, trying to sort it all out. Naruto flips the light switch before I can object and it becomes really bright. "What happened?" Neji mutters in surprise, the house is still a mess from last night. "Uh....My brother threw a party?" I say as more of a question than a statement.

"Hey Monnie, why are you wearing a hood inside anyway?" Kiba asks next and I look away. "I just feel like it. Now can you guys leave? There's nothing to see here and-." My hood is pulled down and I gasp. "I knew it." Sasuke states as they all see my face that I hadn't been able to clean up. "M-Monnie?" Naruto stutters.

"Its nothing, you guys have to go." I say and pull back on my hoodie. "This isn't nothing Monnie!" Kiba yanks my hoodie back down and I glare at him. "So?" I retort. "So? SO?! Monnie you're beaten to a bloody pulp and you can't explain it!" He continues. "I'm fine, I'm just clumsy anyway." I shrug them off.

"Monnie, Itachi told me you had flipped over a table on the first day of school, you aren't clumsy." I glare at him as well, "maybe I am!" He glares back. "We're trying to help you and you're trying to fight us!" Naruto shouts finally and I feel my anger bubbling over.

"I never asked for your help in the first place!" He looks shocked and hurt but I'm not apologizing. "Monnie.... Why won't you let us help you?" Naruto asks, looking like a kicked puppy once again. "Because she doesn't need fake friends." I feel fear in me as I hear Mark's voice. "So Monnie, what are these boys doing here?"

I take a step back in fright, "I-I... They came t-to give me h-homework from s-school, they were just l-leaving." I stutter an excuse quickly. "Weird, when I was in school, they'd send a friend or wait 'til the next day." He smirks and I feel a cold sweat break on my head. "W-Well, things ch-change."

"Really? It seems they know about your situation." I feel tears prick my eyes and I fall to my knees, "p-please don't tell th-them." I plead, how humiliating. "Why not? They're your friends right? They should know you're a murderer." I clench my fists and close my eyes. "Wh-What is he talking about Monnie?" Naruto asks.

"Do you want me to tell them Monique?" I open my eyes slowly and look back up to them all, "I killed my parents."

Boom! A lil foreshadowing! I'll tell you all now, this isn't going to be an assassin fanfic, as much as I love those....I CAN'T WRITE ACTION FOR MY LIFE! Bleh....I don't really hate physics, I haven't taken them yet xp
