He's back. Cole's back.

My heart pounds and I quickly make it back inside the heated party and blend in the crowd. I try looking for Ashton or Shane and when I spot them near Imogen and Macy I sigh a little in relief but then remember that Cole is mere seconds away from me. I quickly run over to them and pull Shane aside. I don't know if it was my face that gave it away or what because he somehow noticed that something was wrong without me having to say a word.

Sibling bonding I guess

"give me 2 minutes and then we will go" he says and I nod before he walks of to Ashton and says something. I look around and hope I lost Aiden and Cole. Guessing my luck I probably have but then as I turn around I see him coming inside looking flustered. He goes up to a guy and says something which the guy replies with a shake of his head.

Aiden walks off in another direction and I jump back when a hand touches my arm.

"calm down its only me" Shane says and I quickly sigh. "ok lets go" he says and pulls me slowly to the exit. I try and hide my face near his arm while we get out and once we are out and in the car the tears run freely.

Seeing Cole today brought all the flashbacks and memories I'd rather in a million years remember.

"He's back..." I whisper and from the corner of my eyes I can see Shane clench his fist alongside his jaw.

The rest of the car ride is silent apart from Shanes constant cussing at Cole. And honestly I don't blame him. But Cole deserves more than just a cuss. He deserves to have his fucking throat slit.

Once we reach home I quickly run upstairs into my bedroom and begin walking back and front. Front and back. I run my hand through my hair a couple of times.

"URGGGH!" all this time it's been nothing but now it's something. More than something actually. I mean no one knows my pain. No one Is haunted by my incident Apart from me. . I kick my chair and fall on my bed face down and scream in to my pillow.

"Kaiden..." I sob and wish he was here. He would hold me and tell me that it's all a dream to be forgotten. But guess what! He's not here HES FUCKING GONE!

The door of my room opens and I quickly jump up in fear but relax when I see it's only Shane.

"I'm so sorry...don't worry he will get his pay" he says and walks up to me and places me on his lap. We sit there cuddling for what felt like forever but only few minutes.

"Don't leave me too ok?" I say to Shane and he gives me a small weak smile.

"Wouldn't dream of it Kassy" he says and kisses the top of my head.

A few minutes pass by like this when my stomach grumbles and a small laugh echoes from Shane.

"Shall I make you something?" he asks and I nod in response. We head downstairs and into the kitchen. But just before I leave my room I check my window and see Aiden's room empty. I quickly relax but stiffen up when there is a knock on the door.

I quickly run downstairs and before Shane can open it I pull him to the other room.

"What are you doing?"

I whisper yell at him and he raises a brow at me.

"Umm...opening the door" he says slowly as if I'm stupid and I give him an 'are you serious look' and he quickly raises his hands.

"Chill I ordered pizza nothing else" he says and just then the bell rings again.

This time I open it only to see the last person I wanted to see.

"What are you doing here" I state plainly with no emotion

"Listen I'm sorry you had to see that but there are-"

"Listen I'm not in the best mood right now and I don't want to talk to you right now so..." I cut him off half way. His eyes change and I don't know what emotion beholds them but something inside me pangs as if I hurt him by saying that.

"Just let me explain" he says but I shake my head.

"What I saw today made something in me snap and I don't know if it was you or something else but I can't take it anymore. My life is already messed as fuck-"

"No don't say that." He says but I shake my head and continue.

"And I can't deal with what I have already dealt with before."

"What are you saying..." he says while trying to get a hold off my hand. Without thinking I take my hand away quickly as if his touch burnt me. I see him close his eyes for a minute then reopen again.

"what I'm SAYING is that it would be best if we don't have anything to do with each oth-" and I don't get to finish because I'm pushed back and a pair of familiar lips are smashed into mine.

I try and pull away from him and leave but his hold on my waist tightens. His lips move against mine and a small whimper escapes from me as his tongue enters in.

I fist the bottom of his shirt in my hand and tug on it. My heart doesn't want this to stop but my mind does. Hoping he lets go of me I tug on it hard but it does the opposite. He lets out a groan.

He then breaks the kiss so we can breathe and looks deeply into my eyes.

"No" he breathes and looks at my now flustered face.

"Why not?" I say trying to be confident. Key word is trying because instead of what I wanted it come out as it came out all flustered.

Aiden smirks at my state and I want to smack it right off him.

"Because I said so." I roll my eyes at this and he brushes a stray hair that fell on my face.

"you're not the only one with secrets. And I'm not losing you again" he says and starts walking over to his house. The last part a bare whisper. I'm not even sure if I heard it correct.

Did he say again? What does he mean by again?

Confused I shake my head and walk back inside to be met with the smell of Pizza and Shane bringing 5 plates along with some cutlery and a big Coke bottle into the kitchen.

"Umm...when did you get the pizza?" I ask because the last time I remember I was the one at the door and there was no pizza man. Only...Aiden.

Shane chuckles a little then beckons me over to the table shut the door and head over and help him with the Lasagna?

"While you and your boyfriend were fighting back there the pizza man came from the door and gave the pizza and then I just heated some Lasagna, I'm surprised you didn't see him..Must have been intimate hu?" he says and I roll my eyes at him while he smirks.

"Shut up"

He laughs and then calms down when I send him a playful glare.

"oh and Ashton, Mace and Imogen will be here in a while" just as he finishes his sentence I hear Macy's voice from the garden.

""SHIT YH PIZZAAAA!" she screams and practically bursts inside followed by Ashton and Imogen.

"I swear I'm surprised how normal you look when you eat so fucking much" Imogen exclaims and I raise my brow at them.

"Excuseee me!! You just didn't call me normal there" she says with a little bit of sass and I just sit back and watch.

Honestly life never gets boring with them.

"Uh..."Imogen wonder while Macy points a finger at her.

"I'm not NORMALL I'm fucking CRAY!" she exclaims and gestures to herself.

We all end up laughing.

""yh with that sexy ass off yours" Ashton says while bumping her hip while he makes his way over.

A round of "oooh"''s go around the room mostly consisting of me and Imogen.

Macy glares at us and rolls her eyes at Ashton who is currently smirking alongside Shane.

"Whatever" she mutters and glares at us again when we start laughing.

But that small blush forming against her cheeks doesn't go unnoticed.

To be honest I can't wait for Ashton to make a move on Macy. I mean they will be goals. But that's if they grow up and confront their evident feelings that they deny for each other.

We all head into the dining room and I almost feel bad for wanting Aiden out of my life but I can't get hurt all over again. And what has happened cannot repeat itself.

Seconds later we have just sat down the door bell rings and Shane gets up to answer it. And 2 minutes later returns with... Aiden and Alec?

Just as I'm about to open my mouth and leave Shane beats me to it and shoots me a quick warning look saying 'don't worry'. I close my mouth again and sigh.

"Glad you can make it" Ashton says and I send him a glare that he so evidently pretends to avoid.

So that was what that little devil was doing in the kitchen with his phone 5 minutes in when he came. Aiden turns his head towards me and stares at me intently.

I break the eye contact when Macy nudges me with a smirk. I turn to Imogen and see her smirking too.

Well they won't down it anytime soon.

"I'll get another plate for them" I mumble and leave the dining room, away from the awkwardness.

I take my time in getting another two plates and coming out. When I come back everyone is talking and laughing. I scan the room until my eyes land on a conversing Aiden. He is sitting were Ashton was sitting and guess were that was.

Yep that was next to me.

Huffing I return to my seat and pass the plate to Alec and ...Aiden, who again stares at me intently as I pour a glass of Coke for myself.

As I sit down I see Ashton pretending to look interested at the walls. I send him a glare and this time he does see it. But he only sends me a wink.

I sip the coke and watch as Shane and Macy talk while Ashton, Aiden, Imogen and Alec talk.

I just nod here and there and the laugh when Macy defends Shane's accusation on food.

But every now and then Aiden's foot would bump mine.

And his arm would brush against mine.

Annoying!

The time passes by like that and soon we are all in the living room.

"I know, let's play cheat" Ashton says and a row of 'yes, yh, k' are heard around the room.

So Ashton brings the cards and hands them out. We are all sitting on the floor around the coffee table.

"ok so whose first?" Ashton asks and Macey volunteers.

"Ima beat all you're lying asses" she says and puts her card face down.

We all start playing and every now and then start laughing and then screaming.

An hour later Shane, Ashton, Aiden and Alec are all on the couches, while me Macy and Imogen sit against the couches on the floor.

And without having to guess Aiden is behind me.

His legs try and wrap around me but I would just shrug it off. A few minutes into the movie and everyone is mostly asleep or dozing off.

Getting tired as well. I look around to see everyone asleep.

I lean forward and take the remote from the coffee table, I switch the screen off and lean back when a pair of arms grab me and pull me up into the couch. I let out a squeal in surprise but then know its Aiden.

"What the hell!" I exclaim slash whisper yell.

"Never again Kass, Never again" he whispers in my ear before wrapping his arm around me and placing his head in the crook of my neck.

Knowing this is how it's going to be and he isn't going to let me go anytime soon, I snuggle with him and wrap my arms around him too.

I felt him mile against my neck and for some weird reason my lips turned up into a smile too.

Never again.

Those two words were the only thought as I drifted to my lost friend.
