Espurr grabbed onto us once more and traced a portal into that hellish space. We drifted through it, espurr expertly vaulting off debris to reach our destination. One of the tentacled horrors touched me, and I felt strangely safe for our current situation. Eventually espurr traced another portal and we plunged through it. We landed in a soft pile of snow, but upon smelling it I realized it was ash. A charred sign reading "Bloomtown" was on the floor. No buildings were left in this apocalyptic city. Only hunks of charred metal and a few rotting corpses could be seen. Lone gengar could be seen haphazardly in the ruins, searching for survivors. We trudged through the ashes searching for Manakuma, but all we found was more wreckage. We came to a set of gengar clambering to get on top of a concrete pillar, and what I saw on top of the pillar would have made my jaw drop if I had one. It was Bobby, still in his insurance salesman uniform, and beside him was a bisharp, pawniards evolution. Bobby held a rifle and shot at the horde of gengar, keeping them at bay. The pillar was crumbling slowly and couldn't last forever. I did a quick nod between raichu and marowak and we charged at the horde. Marowak swung his flaming club expertly, searing gengar to a crisp. Raichu made whole patches of gengar incinerate with massive lightning bolts. Espurr sent crystalline shards of psychic energy flying through multiple gengar at once. And I, well I just stood there punching a little bit, not knowing how to use this body, and in the process looking pretty stupid. All of a sudden an unknown force took control, my body jumped in the air and smashed down creating a crater and sending gengar flying. All four of us eventually obliterated the horde and we helped Bobby and Bisharp down. Marowak looked Bisharp up and down as if sizing him up, and raichu nuzzled against Bobby. As we all sat there, I wondered what or who that mysterious force was, and if I could control it.
